``TEAGAN RAE SMITH! Teagan made her way through the hallway on the second floor, the heels of her knee-high boots making a soft click-click sound on the stone floor with each step that she took. She quirked an eyebrow, mentally wondered where everyone was within the hallway, as she had only seem one or two random students making their way through the entire hall. Of course, it was rather late within the evening, and she assumed that most of them had already settled into their rooms to get some sleep for the evening. Of course, this particular young woman had always had issues with insomnia, and being at Hogwarts didn't make it any easier for her.
Pushing her long dark hair off of her shoulders, she abruptly decided to do a bit of exploring, turning to her left at the next door and promptly turning the knob. Stepping inside, she glanced around the room. A room that was for the most part deserted. It looked as if it were used partially for a bit of storage, as there were a few chairs and even a long sofa that was residing within the room. There was only a little bit of light coming from the windows on the far side of the room, but it wasn't enough to fully light the room. And, she realized, it was quite cold in here, as well. Obviously, an empty classroom wasn't something that someone would bother to keep heated during the fall if it wasn't being used.
Pulling her wand out from the messenger bag at her side, she pointed it towards the large fireplace within the room, and smiling to herself as she said the proper words and the wood within promptly sparked to life, igniting a large fire within it. She immediately moved over towards the fire, scooting the large sofa that was there a bit closer, before sitting down on said sofa, and stretching out in a lazy fashion.
Laying on the plush sofa, she tucked her arms back under her head, pulling the hood of her jacket up over her dark hair. She let her violet eyes drift shut for a moment, enjoying the crackling sound of the fire and the warmth that was coming from it. Curling her body up slightly, she snuggled into the comfort of the sofa, suddenly wishing she had someone else to share the atmosphere with it. It was quiet and comfortable, after all. She slid one eye open lazily, positive that she'd heard the door opening. Maybe she'd gotten her wish, and someone had actually stumbled in to join her.

- - - - Although wandering the castle late at night was not one of his favorite activities, it was certainly turning into a regular thing for Sébastien. Sleep was coming less during the night and more during his classes. He was sure it wouldn't be a good thing for his grades, but lately he didn't seem very concerned by it. Classes were boring anyways. And he was always with people he didn't like, or just people that were so uninteresting. He had hoped that Hogwarts would be an adventure, just like last year. But it would seem that Beauxbatons was more of a ball than here. In fact, speaking of balls, they were probably having one by now. Of course Hogwarts had one going on too, but still. There were too many girls here that were taken. It irked Sébastien a little.
Sighing, Sébastien was glad that he'd brought his cigarettes with him, taking one out of the pack and placing it inbetween full lips, he lit the cigarette with his wand, as if it were a large lighter. Inhaling the wonderful nicotine and then exhaling it out into the cold castle corridors, Sébastien felt like quite the badboy. It had been a while since he'd done something this stupid, and the thrill it was giving him was worth it. Really, he had no idea where he was going. But Sébastien had to find someplace soon, because it wasn't smart to be out in the corridors for too long. A teacher could walk by and then you'd be screwed.
But Sébastien didn't want to think about that just then. Instead, he continued wandering about, smoking his cigarette, strolling about the castle as if he owned it. He was debated about maybe going back downstairs to get something from the kitchens when he heard something. Looking down, he saw the decrepit old cat Mrs. Norris, her yellow eyes trained on him. She meowed loudly again, and then walked off. A minute later he heard huffing and puffing, of none other than Filch. Nervous now, Sébastien threw his cigarette down where he was and ran off into the dark corridors, looking for an unlocked door. Finally, the third door he tried was unlocked, so he hurriedly went in and then closed the door, locking it with his wand.
Leaning against the door, Sébastien caught his breath before opening his light brown eyes to see where he was. It was an empty classroom, but it seemed he wasn't the only one in the room. There was a girl there, stretched out on a couch near the fire that he assumed she'd started. Walking over, he sat down on the ground with his back against the couch, in front of the fire. The warmth from it felt good on his freezing skin, especially after the scare of almost getting caught by Filch. Turning a little to look at the girl that was there with him, he guessed her to be either his age or perhaps a year younger. She was very pretty, with her long dark hair and pretty eyes. "Filch is hunting me down," Sébastien told her, smirk on his lips, voice heavy with his accent.

``TEAGAN RAE SMITH! Teagan smiled softly as the male entered the room, and shut it behind him. She was a bit curious as to exactly what might be following him, as he leaned against the door, obviously catching his breath for a brief moment. She had heard the sound of the lock clicking, as well, making it quite clear that they were now succesfully locked into the empty classroom. Of course, she didn't mind, as she didn't have much else to do this particular evening except occupy her time in the room that was now becoming comfortably warm. And now, well now, she even had someone of interest to speak to. Well, at least she hoped that they were interesting. Of course, if they happened to be on the less entertaining side, she could always escape from the room and take their chances with the teachers and other creatures that tended to roam the halls, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting students.
Sitting up slightly, she rested herself on her elbow on the couch, turning her attention to the dark-haired male as he took a seat on the floor. His back was pressed against the couch, and she grinned, her hair falling slightly in her face as she looked down at him. "You know, you could have sat up here, I'm not so selfish that I wouldn't move," she stated. Her lips were turned up in a slight smirk, as she looked at him. She realized that he looked vaguely familiar, which meant that she had probably seen him around before, but she honestly didn't know his name or where exactly she'd seen him. Hell, she couldn't even think of what year that he might be, or house, though he looked to be about her age.
The young woman listened to his statement, realizing exactly why he had rushed into the room as he had. No one wanted to be stuck anywhere near Filch, especially if he was in one of his moods, which was most of the time. She also registered the tone of his voice, and the accent that resided there. The young male was obviously French. "Well, I suppose that fact that you're being hunted down is fortunate for me, because I thought I was going to be stuck here alone all night with no one to talk to. I'm Teagan," she stated, a warm smile coming onto her lips, as she looked at him. "And who might you be, m'dear?' she inquired, quirking an eyebrow, as she waited for a response.
The room was quiet except for the sound of their soft conversation, and the crackling of the flames within the fireplace. The soft moonlight was still filtering through the windows, and thus far no one had decided to beat down the door to find out whom had disappeared inside. She assumed that meant they were quite safe within the confines of the abandoned room.

- - - - Looking up at the girl when she spoke, Sébastien shot her an honest smile when he heard what she said. It'd been a couple hours since he heard an actual human voice speak to him, and even longer since the voice was saying something kind. Although popular with the ladies, it was a bit more difficult making friends with the boys of the school. Most thought he was gay, and when they found out he was screwing their girlfriends they called him a dick. Not that Sébastien cared all that much. They could suck his dick for all he cared about what they had to say. Most of the Slytherins were on good terms with him, although he could feel a slight divide with them as well since he was sorted into Hufflepuff. Oh well.
"Ah, well you never know. I didn't want to assume you would have just given me the seat. Then you would have thought me rude,"he said softly while moving up to the seat of the couch next to the girl with dark hair. It was actually quite cozy being next to her, smoking his cigarette and in front of the fire. Cozier than the common room actually. There were always first years running around down there until two in the morning or so and it really was quite the nuisance. No, being here with just one person in the quiet of an empty classroom was just fine for Sébastien. Looking her over once more, the young man was quite surprised to find that her eyes looked violet. Furrowing his brows and getting a little closer to inspect this, Sébastien found that he indeed was right. They were purple.
Moving back a little Sébastien offered no explanation for what he just did. Her eyes were purple, afterall. She must get that often enough to know what he was doing. Taking another drag off his cigarette, he wondered if he should offer her. He knew he had three left in the carton in his pocket, so he would be good for the next couple hours. He didn't want to seem rude, and yet he didn't want to give up a cigarette. Instead, he did the best he could in his indecision. "Would you like a puff," he asked, offering her the cigarette that moments ago had just been in between his lips.
"Well, I suppose that fact that you're being hunted down is fortunate for me, because I thought I was going to be stuck here alone all night with no one to talk to. I'm Teagan,"
Teagan. It was an interesting name, one he didn't hear very often. Perhaps one other time in his life. Maybe not. It was pretty though, and seemed to suit her. At least from what he assessed of her. "I suppose it was fortunate for both of us, because I would have just spent the next six hours in a catatonic state until it was time to for class,"Sébastien replied with a smirk. Taking her hand, he rose it to his lips, a devious look in his eyes as he looked up at her through his lashes. "Sébastien. Charmed to meet you, Teagan," he said in a soft voice, making sure he took his time in letting her hand go. No matter who he was with, Sébastien couldn't help but be a charmer. It was just his nature.

``TEAGAN RAE SMITH! Teagan smiled softly as she looked at the male, as he finally decided to take a seat on the couch beside her. She tilted her head back against the cushions that resided on the back of the sofa for a moment, simply settling down into the comfortable state of quiet for the moment. She had let her eyes slip shut, but didn't actually realize it until she registered that the male was speaking to her once again. She mentally frowned, hating that she kept referring to him as 'the male' within her own inner voice. How very annoying.
"I would absolutely adore one. I left my own cigarettes in my room, though that's not really a surprise as I'm only a casual smoker," she said, reaching over to take the cigarette from him. She lifted the filter to her lips, inhaling slowly, and savoring the sensation it caused. She was much more of a social smoker than anything other than that, but that didn't mean she didn't crave one every once in a while. Handing the object back to him, she tucked her hands into the pockets of her hooded jacket, before tugging her feet up underneath her, so that she was positioned in a more 'Indian-style' position.
The young woman turned her attention towards him fully once again, as he spoke to her and introduced himself. "It's lovely to meet you, Sebastien," she said, a visible smirk playing on her lips. She never really had too much trouble making friends, especially if they were of the opposite sex. Not only was Teagan extremely affectionate, but she also wasn't the typical girl who was always worried about their attire and whatever someone else might think of them. That had never been her style, which made her appeal more to the opposite sex than those that happened to be the same sex.
"So what, if I may ask, had you out wandering the halls in the first place? Did you have a particular venture in mind when you were nearly accosted by the oh-so-unpleasant Filch, or were you simply wandering much in the fashion of myself?" she asked, removing her hands from the pockets of her jacket, and tugging at a stray strand of thread that was sticking out from a frayed spot in the knee of her jeans.
