dear lauren, that's awesome the way your parents were. i wish mine could of found something to keep the love alive in their marriage..but, i suppose sometimes that happens. oh! idea..maybe we could find some other students around the school that can play..and even sing and have them stand outside the shop and attract some customers or something. maybe even create some flyers and spread them out around hogsmeade and the school as well. -cj

CORBIN,
maybe you will end up having better luck when you get older corbin. i think having student artists help is a really good idea. i think singers and people that can play around the shop would be cool. having someone good at drawing doing the poster i think would be a good idea as well. it would help them get more well known, and it would do a lot of good for the shop. i think that would be a win, win.

dear lauren, maybe. but i must be flaw, as girls dump me..instead of the other way around. hmm, i'm not sure if i know anyone that can draw. though...i'm not sure. we could stuff up around the school and try to find people. or even just go around to our classmates themselves and ask them. -cj

CORBIN,
do they ever tell you why they don't want to be with you anymore? if not, i don't know what to tell you. i think that if we said we needed someone that could draw and asked around a bit that we could probably find somebody.

dear lauren, some just don't like how committed i can be to them. or..i don't know. some will make stuff up or say the same usual 'it's not you..it's me' bull-crap. but..oh well. yeah, i think we did ask around, we'd be able to find someone that can draw. and maybe even find some people to help us out as well. -cj

CORBIN,
maybe girls think you get too attached. they want to relaxed and have some fun in the relationship. yes, it can be serious, but you have to appeal to them having fun to. the ones that say 'it's me, not you' are probably just shallow. i agree with you about the getting people to help us out thing.

dear lauren, i don't think i get to attached to them. but..i'm a committed guy. i'm not going to cheat on a girl or flirt with other girls if i'm in a relationship with another. and i do like to have fun in a relationship as well. but..i have my boundaries and limits. maybe i'm just to sweet of a guy. girls seem to like those bad guys that ignore them all the time..maybe i should be like that. -cj

CORBIN,
well, for one, you just have to relax and remember that. girls that have a good amount of maturity respect a guy who is just themselves. that also means you shouldn't act like something you're not. you don't need to act like a bad guy to get a girl. if that is what a girl wants, then they can find someone else. more than likely that person will break their hearts and not care as well.

dear lauren, i am always myself. i was only kidding about being a bad guy type. i don't think i could be a bad guy even if i tried. oh well. maybe i'm not meant to find the right girl here at hogwarts. or maybe this year could be my year. who knows. -cj

CORBIN,
maybe so, just keep your eyes open, but don't try too hard to go after it. i know that you seem like a nice guy, and that you probably will get a nice girl. someone that you probably have some stuff in common with and can easily get along with.

dear lauren, yeah, i know. and i kind of don't try hard. i mean..i'd like to have a girl that is just right for me, but..i'm still young, right? i do have a long time ahead of me to find the girl that is just perfect and the only one for me. -cj

CORBIN,
yes, that is true that you have a long time. i am sure that they will come from where you least except. that is usually how it seems to work out anyways.

dear lauren, yeah. that is true too. i had thought this one girl i was dating last year at the beginning she would of been the one..cause she sort of came from like..no where. but..she just ended up being like the rest. but a bit worse. she was big on flirting, whether in a relationship or not and i did not like that at all. but..i talked to her about it and instead of saying she'd try to stop, she just looked at me like i smacked her and broke up with me. so..i really haven't dated anyone since then. -cj

CORBIN,
yeah, i thought she wasn't a very good choice for you at all. I knew that she flirted a lot, even to guys that were taken. she even flirted with george some last year, and i had to tell her to back off. i think what she did to you is very unreasonable and girls should not treat you like you aren't anything. it is not right for anyone to do that to anybody.

dear lauren, mmhm. i believe that if we would of stayed together, she would of been the first girl that i would of broken-up with. some think its weird that i've never broken up with someone..i'm just like..well, the girls seem to beat me to it. i don't know..i saw what my parents went through..why would i want to do that to someone else? -cj
