dating and marriage is different though. you don't have to forever commit yourself to someone you are dating. the propose of dating is to find that person you want to commit yourself with. so, i wouldn't worry about it too much, they'll be okay.

dear lauren,
i know they are different. but it's the fact of breaking ones heart. whether dating or married. it's something i never want to do. like i said, i saw how it affected my parents. whether you are dating or married, it's still something that hurts and brings a lot of pain.

i just know that it has been a good learning experience for me. even though my heart has been broken, i have learned from it. i think that you shouldn't be afraid of breaking up with someone if you are just dating, because you'll both hopefully learn something from it. you have to sometimes see beyond the pain it brings.

i guess so. but, i don't know if i'd ever have it in me to hurt someone in that way that i care about. but, i guess if it ever happens, it'll be for good reason and not just some random excuse.

yeah, you have to not be afraid to let things go. you got to deal those emotions. i am sure that pretty much everyone goes through it, and that means that we have to experience it to understand each other better.
