As she touched his wrist he flinched, nearly pulling away but instead relaxed. He returned her smile, not with curiosity but with a slight sweetness about it. Rare for Cormac indeed, he realised she was still touching his wrist and coughed. ‘Err yeah, sorry.. Major bad habit you know’. He smiled again, ‘You wanna go somewhere?’. He suddenly looked shocked and stuttered, ‘I’m sorry, I didn’t mean..’, he blushed, ‘..You know.. Didn’t mean to imply or anything!’. He blushed, another rare occasion for him, turning away so she couldn’t see his cheeks flush a pink colour he looked up towards where he knew Hogwarts lied behind some tall oak trees.
He turned back towards her sure that his face had returned to his normal colour. ‘Seriously though, I’ve got no idea where my friends are.. wanna keep each other company?’ He was asking with a hint of hope in his deep voice, he genuinely was becoming interested in her and knew that it was real. After all he wasn’t behaving like his usual self, his friends would be shocked. He pushed the thought of his friends out of his mind and fully concentrated on Adelisa.

Adelisa giggled and smiled. The stuttering and blushing was mega-cute in her opinion. Tilting her head and smiling sweetly at him she listened until he was completely done rambling. "Cormac." He kept rambling. "Coooormac." Again, kept rambling. "Cormac!" She raised her voice and grinned. Finally he shut up. Holding her hand to her mouth and biting down on her finger as he blushed and turned away it was official, she was completely crushing. "Cormac it's ok I didn't take it in that way."
She giggled. "Aww your blushing? How cute!" She tilted her head and smiled. "I'd love to keep you company Cormac." She swayed her hips slightly and giggled shyly. She liked that he didn't seem to be faking any interest in her.

Cormac blushed once more, he hated this, he didn’t even know he could blush! He didn’t think he’d ever really shown feelings in such a way. And it was strange, so strange, that he was feeling like this so quickly. Surely it must be the lack of people around him, definitely allowing him to open up. He racked his brain as she giggled at him, trying desperately to think of some type of activity that would be impressive or at least entertaining. He struggled, the pause awful, his mind wandered to Quidditch for the first time in a while.
Then he smiled, realising, that was it.. flying! He leant against the wall once more, ‘We really should move away from here you know’. He paused, hoping she’d accept his idea. ‘Don’t suppose you want to go for a little fly.. you know, broomsticks’. He beamed at her, an exciting outing if ever there was one. ‘I mean unless you want to stay here’, he gestured around him, ‘it’s just I haven’t really got any reason to be in Hogsmeade to be honest’. He smiled once more, thought of his hair, but with a smile kept his hand firmly where it was. She was having an unusual effect on him, and he liked it.

Adelisa giggled, in the common way teenage girls did when they liked a boy. She saw his gaze kind of glaze over in though and she waited, both hands clasping behind her back. There wasn't that much to honestly do around here and she looked toward the path back to Hogwarts. "I agree, there's only so much you can do here before getting bored." She tilted her head.
"You want to take me flying?" She smiled and giggled. "Separate or together?" She smiled coyly. She wasn't good on a broomstick by herself and this would give Cormac a chance to decide if he really liked her. She could fly, oh yes, but the height.... As long as she didn't think much of it she was fine.

Cormac nodded as she agreed with him about how uneventful Hogsmeade is. He smiled, ‘Course I wanna take you flying!’ His mind wandered to pictures of him and Adelisa soaring over the Hogwarts grounds, smiling widely. ‘Yeah, it’ll be fun right?’. He pondered, should he let her fly on her own, coming to the conclusion of better to be safe than sorry he decided. ‘Well, maybe if we hop on a broom together for first, that way you can just get the feel of it’, he smiled again hoping this would be okay with her.
He moved off past her back down towards the centre of the village where they would leave through the other side of Hogsmeade. Cormac strode off and was a good few feet away from her before he realised she was still rooted to the spot where they had been stood. He stopped, looked over his shoulder and gestured towards her. ‘Come on..’, he called back to her, ’Promise you’ll love it’. He held his hand out behind him now looking forward again.

Adelisa smiled and nodded. Though her stomach tightened a bit just thinking about it. She bit her lip nervously. "I guess it'll be fun. Being together sounds better then me being by myself." She admitted while smiling shyly. She didn't know if she'd do to good on her own. But thinking about it made her nervous, and being nervous didn't allow her feet to move much.
Looking at him as he began to walk away she smiled shyly as he stopped to look back at her. "Sorry, nerves." She said quietly. She took a deep breath and walked toward him, taking his hand. "Promise?" She gripped his hand tightly, ignoring the jealous stares of the other girl's now that they were really in plain sight.

Cormac felt Adelisa’s hand slip into his and then had a warm feeling rush through his body as she gripped his hand. He could see faces watching them out of the corner of his eye but resisted the urge to turn to them and retort. ‘I promise’, he said gently to her with a slight smile. He couldn’t help thinking about how this must look to outsiders. Not the fact that he was with a new girl, and such events were important in the teenage world, but for the fact that he was not projecting his voice across Hogsmeade so everyone would hear him. Before he knew it they were walking hand in hand down the main street heading towards the track that would take them up to Hogwarts.
[Gonna make a new thread by the Quidditch pitch if that’s cool? Just for a change =]]
