The king and his men, Stole the Queen from her bed, And bound her in her Bones, The seas be ours, And by the powers, Where we will, we'll roam.
Yo Ho, haul together, Hoist the colours high, Heave Ho, Theives and Beggars, Never Shall We Die! Adelisa's soft voice rang out in the empty bathroom, not even Myrtle was bothering her. She was singing the pirate's song, Hoist the colors. She swung her legs from her perch on the sinks and she leaned back. Anderson was running around, happy to be free from his chaliced prison due to Transfiguration. The one class he didn't want to go to with her and she had to drag him there to keep him out of trouble.
She closed her eyes for a moment thinking about Malfoy, and all the tricks they could play on him. "How fun." She mused, smiling to herself. None of which could be done alone, which is why she was requesting the help of Lauren, her friend since her third year when she was confronted by her. She looked at the door hearing it creak open. "Laur?"

&& it's me versus me, versus them
Lauren started heading towards Moaning Myrtle's bathroom after struggling to stay awake in History of Magic and failing in doing so. She headed there in her own, she had told that Fred and George that she would meet up with them later in the Common Room. The girl was glad that she had taught herself and her friends how to send notes to each other if they were in different classes. It was a very useful little trick that helped in a lot of situations. When she headed into the bathroom, she heard that it was awfully quiet, and that Moaning Myrtle probably wasn't there at that moment. She just shrugged a little bit, and headed inside, and she heard the voice of Adelisa. After that she smiled, and when over to her, obivously ready to start up their planning on what to do about Draco Malfoy.
"Alright. I am here." Lauren said, and took a look around the place. It wasn't flooded, for once. She knew that she was wishing a little much for Myrtle to not come back, but she could hope couldn't she? "So, what are we going to do about Draco then? Probably something that doesn't harm him. I don't like hurting my victims." The girl grinned, thinking about something harmless, but probably something that would embarrass him a little bit. "What if his hair got dyed Gryffindor red for a week? Harmless, but he would have to wear a hat. Plus, teachers don't like hats in their classrooms." With this she grinned, hearing a teaching telling Malfoy to put off his hat, and they see the red hair. "Very simple, and probably something that just about anyone could have done." Ah, the brillance of knowing something so funny, yet so easy to do.
"What do you say to that?" Lauren asked, and toook a look around to make sure that nobody was around to ask what the two were doing in there. It sort of helped that she was a prefect, and that Dumbledore had a good sense of humor. Otherwise, all this pranking that she was doing probably would have gotten her into trouble long ago. If the teachers couldn't figure it out, Dumbledore didn't bother, and that was why he was awesome.

Adelisa grinned seeing the very girl she considered like an older sister. "Hello Lauren!" She nodded at her comment about not liking to harm her victims. If there was anything she was going to force in her brain to remember: mean is not always funny. Bringing her legs up she smiled and nodded. "Gryffindor red sounds good. Showing some house pride." She snickered and hopped down. "How about pink streaks? Only enough to notice it clashes?" He would look positively horrid, and would undoubtedly be infuriated.
"And if it comes down to it we don't even need to play the blame game since anyone could have done it, and it even seems probable for a first year." She shrugged her shoulders and giggled. Anderson ran over and curled around Lauren's legs affectionately, brushing against her and rubbing against her legs. "Aww Anderson missed you!"

She grinned, her little pupil was learning a very important lesson about not hurting other people once again. Pain was not the goal at all here, and it should never be a prankisters goal to physically harm their target. "Yeah, you know he loves Gryffindor, his family has been in it for generations." Lauren said, snickering with Adelisa a bit after she said that. "Pink? Like regular pink or hot pink?" The girl asked, trying to figure out how she was going to make it. Lauren should probably suggest 'hair dye bombs' to Fred and George. It would be easy for her, and probably just about anybody to make. But, Fred and George she knew would be able to put new spins on it and use it in one way or another. They had a nack for that, and that was why she was such good friends with the both of them in the first place.
"Hey there Andrew." Lauren spoke the words softly to the cat, and started to pet him. She smiled a bit, knowing that the cat was a very kind creature. "It seems that he did." A chuckle was let out of her mouth, and she looked around the place a bit. "Anyways, is there anything else going on?" This was when she tried to get people to trust her not only in pranking, but in other things, like advice. The girl knew that she would do her best to be trust worthy to the fifth year. After all, she was supposed to help younger students, and Lauren tended to like Adelisa as a person a lot. "I will keep it a secret if you need me to." The sixth year added, knowing that people wanted some of their lives away from the rest of the world, and she took that very seriously if she was told not to tell a soul, she wouldn't tell a soul.

"I was thinking more hot pink to accent that horridly bright hair of his. I feel ashamed for dying mine a similar color." She wrinkled her nose and entangled her hands in her hair. She thought previously the color looked nice, especially when her hair was shorter but now she didn't really know. Silently she debated cutting her long hair once more but decided for just a bit longer she'd like to keep it trailing down her back. She knew somehow this would all get back to the twins, whether they had wanted it to or not. "I assume this will require the twins help?" She smiled innocently, something she was quite proud to have mastered, especially with a mischievous face such as hers so easily swayed by temptation.
Anderson arched his back into her touched and closed his eyes, purring deeply. At the mention of other outside problems she frowned. Sighing she touched her hair with her right hand and cupped her elbow with her left. "The changing." She suddenly seemed so much more tired, paler. The bite scar on her left hand was clearly visible and her bottom lip seemed slightly swollen, she had smashed herself in the face accidentally during her fit while changing. "It's getting harder, more painful. I'm not sure why."

"Haha. That would be awesome. I will make sure I do that." Lauren smirked a bit, knowing that this would be good. She knew that this would be probably one of the best things that she had done in awhile. "I will get it started and see what the twins think." She knew that the innocent smile was a mask, hiding her true intentions. The younger Gryffindor could not fool her, but she didn't really care that much herself. The sixth year was proud though, the three of them had successfully been poisoning a young mind to think of pranking other people. "If the twins learn about it, I am sure they will give you a high five for helping me come up with it." After that she laughed a little bit.
"I am sorry that it is getting worse." Her voice go solum after she heard that the pain was getting worse for her transformations. That was not a good thing at all, and she really wished that she could help her friend. "I wish that there was something that I could do... but, I do not know of anything right now." Lauren spoke sadly, remembering the stories that her dad had told her about Lupin's struggles when he was a kid. "Everything will get better though, it always does." The girl gave her a slight smile, and started to pet the kitten a little bit once again.

Adelisa nodded slowly. "Professor Dumbledore....wants me to tell Professor Snape." She looked down and traced the scar lightly. "You know...for the wolfsbane potion. But...I...I don't know. I mean I can trust him but....that's one more person knowing and one of these days I'm going to hurt someone." Her voice got choked up, her hair thankfully hiding her face. She pressed her hot eyelids closed and sighed. The danger was far to great this year.
She sighed and Anderson mewed. He padded over to her as she slid to the ground and climbed into her lap. "My dad's getting more worried about me too, but I know in a way this is good for his research." She rubbed her forehead tiredly. "I haven't been getting to much sleep, I might start gradually pulling away from everyone. You know, in case one day I snap." She tuned her weary gaze back up to Lauren. "That means maybe not as many pranks."

"You probably should... that wolfsbane potion could really help." Lauren spoke these words thoughtfully, and looked at Adelisa in the eyes. "You have to do what you can in order to keep everyone safe, including yourself." She knew that she was oddly wise, but that came from how informed she was about most of her dad's life. Her father had been very open about most of his life to her and her two brothers. "Just tell your dad that you will find a way, and that it will be alright." The words were soft, like a mother's words would be to a child. Adelisa did not have to worry about anything, she would make sure that everything would be ok with her friend. "Just try to work on getting some sleep alright?" The sixth year knew that sleep was refreshing, and it was one of those things that Adelisa would definitely need with all of that stuff that was going on in her life.
The girl then gave the other a hug and nodded. "It's alright. I am not gonna force you to prank." After that her eyes sparkled a bit and a smile was on her face. "I will give you a butter beer when we go to Hogsmeade. How does that sound?" She asked, trying to offer her something positive that would help everything keep on. "Besides, I am sure Fred and George will find a way to make everyone able to be a prankster." With that she chuckled a bit, and knew that the creative Weasley twins would come up with something, no matter what the would end up being.

Adelisa nodded. Safety was important, especially the safety of others. She looked up at her mentor and sighed. "Dad will always worry, his recent one is whether or not I'm swamped with boy problems." She rolled her eyes and smiled weakly. "As for sleep, I'll try." She yawned lightly and stretched. "A butterbeer sounds amazing." She smiled, Laur always knew how to make her feel better. She hugged the older girl back. "I was thinking....should I tell the twins? I mean....we do a lot of pranks together...."
Her thoughts then wandered to Cormac. Should she tell her? "And also...I might....have a boyfriend soon." Was all she would give the girl. Let her hang for a bit wondering then she'd tell her.

Lauren seemed to understand that her dad would probably never give up on being protect, and afterall, that was a father's job. She chuckled a bit hearing the yawn and then the statement about the butterbeer. But, it was probably the best offer that Lauren could give her. Then, she nodded about the twins, and she knew that they probably needed to know about what was going on as well. "Have you ever thought about telling them about what you are?" The girl truly was wanting to encourage her to do so, because the two of them to her were worth trusting, even if they both seemed to never be serious. They had their times where they could just sit down and talk about things that needed to be said at the moment. "I know I tell them quite a bit."
"Oh..." The sixth year was a bit surprised by this statement, she hadn't really known Addy to try to be with anyone before, so this was new. "Who is he?" Lauren's curiosity was starting to get the best of her, and she truly wanted to know who this guy in question was. She honestly could not tell you who it would be, but she hoped that he was a good guy and not some selfish jerk. Her friend Addy didn't deserve that type of material even a foot by her.

"I've been to worried about how they'll react I guess. When your a werewolf you think everyone will run and scream in fear after shunning you." She shrugged. "I'll tell them, as soon as I get their attention." She perked up slightly. "But I'm starting to get better, I do talk to people more." She smiled brightly, obviously proud of herself. She used to be worse and shun the world, but that was before the twins lightened her up.
"His name is Cormac." She smiled just thinking about him. "Cormac McLaggen, total Quidditch freak." She smiled up at Lauren and stood up, leaning on the sinks again. She wondered how her friend would act, after all Lauren's input meant a lot to her, she knew how people acted all the time. "Is he clear?" She tilted her head, knowing Lauren knew that all that mattered was what she thought of him.

The sixth year perked up with her when she heard the good news that she was going to try to talk to the Weasley twins later. That was a good thing, that girl needed some people to trust. Lauren was aware of Addy's struggles to be open with other people, and therefore she was glad to see that she had opened up with a couple people. Now if Xavier and Lauren could only do that with their brother Dylan...
This thought was broke though as soon as she heard the name of the guy. "Cormac." She felt everything screech suddenly to a hault and felt sick to her stomach. The girl could barely even pay attention to the rest of what her friend was saying. Lauren was lost for words for a little bit until she spoke. "Him? You want to date him?!" There was utter disbelief filled in her voice all over. What in heaven's name had made her like this guy anyways? All that Lauren Wills had known of him was him being a complete and total jerk to everyone he met. A total stuck up, that thought he was better than half the universe, and couldn't even pathum the size of his own over-sized ego.
"No, no no no! Definitely not! Not in a millon years." So much for being accepting of people. Lauren knew that went right out the window when all she saw in a person was ego. She never gave a person an ego much of a chance, ever. It was surprising in this way that she would accept some Slytherins, but some of them didn't have the huge ego. "Do you even know how much of an ego he has Addy?" She pleaded with Addy, hoping that she would be sensible and go on to somebody else that wasn't a complete waste of time.

"Lauren?" Adelisa could tell she had completely spaced. Are you listening?" She jumped a bit when Lauren snapped back down to Earth. "Uhmm...I was thinking about it....is it that bad?" Adelisa felt her heart break. What was so wrong with him? "Why is it so hard to believe?" She didn't get why Laur was freaking out. Cormac had been a total sweetheart to her, and even saved her life from falling off her broom. And sure she didn't know how he really acted when she wasn't around but she didn't really care.
"Why not? He's a total sweetheart." She said quietly. Last thing she wanted was to get Laur upset, but she also had to defend her choice. She blushed, in a way feeling like a total idiot. If he was really as bad as Laur was making him out to be then why did she take an interest in him in the first place? "Well I didn't think it was that big..." She trailed off and fell silent, looking at the ground. "Lauren...he's the only guy that's ever taken an interest in me in 15 years."

"Uh... yes... it is that bad Addy." Lauren said and shook her head. This girl probably had no idea how this guy treated Fred, George, and herself. He was not a nice guy at all, and she wanted to make sure that Addy was completely aware of that. "He thinks he is better at Quidditch than Fred and George and everyone else. All Cormac thinks about is the Quaffle and his big head." The sixth year told Addy straight out, she was not going to lie to protect this guy. She was going to put him out in the open the way that he really was. "What made him so great to you anyways?" She said, hoping to get an answer that was somewhat reasonable, or the world would probably freeze again. It was rare that she got into what she would call a 'Molly Weasley rampage', but she was capable of doing it.
"I know you haven't had a guy interested in you Addy, but you don't have to be with the first guy that just happens to like you." She said, becoming a bit more gentle towards her friend. Lauren felt that Addy needed to hear that she didn't need to just go at the first chance that she got. "There will probably be a lot more chances given to you, and you should think on it hard and consider what I just said before you do this alright?" The girl then grimmanced at that statement, she sounded like she was talking to some little kid about some little mess that they had made on the floor or something. How lame was that?

Adelisa sighed and put a hand on her forehead. "I'll admit he's a Quidditch freak but I've never seen him act like that before to anyone." She looked away and fiddled with her hair. "Well, he was so sweet at Hogsmeade and he even blushed! He was just so cute." She said quietly. She knew she wasn't proving her case much. She bit her lip quite hard and crossed her arms. "I know that Laur!" She sounded upset. Her eyes were glassy and she looked away, thankful for her long hair which partially covered her face.
"Lauren I'm not sure there will be anyone else. I'm just so...I'm so afraid Lauren." She started tearing up. "I'm just so scared I'll hurt someone." She slid to the ground again and quickly wiped her eyes. She sighed and looked up at Laur. "You really hate him that much?" She chewed her lip for a moment, thinking. Then she turned her gaze back to Laur. "Fine, I'll make you a deal. If you can find someone you approve of that likes me to date me, then I'll date them. If not, I go out with Cormac."
