Kyraina's eyes closed slowly as she leaned back in the commonroom. Kids were milling in and out of the Slytherin home and as she leaned back putting her feet up on the couch she stretched herself out yawning, "I wonder where everyone is off to today there is like no events going on that I know of, but oh well... Oh wait theres supposed to be a quiditch game... I wonder if Draco's playing?" She blushes slowly and closed her eyes again dreamily. Draco to her was so dang gorgeous. His family was everything she invisioned for her own family.
She blushed as she imagined the two of them together kissing and opened her eyes shaking her head, "Naaaaa nothing like that could happen... Naaaaaa..." She then sat up and looked around smiling as her black hair fell into her left eye. Reaching onto the table in front of her where her black notebook sat she pulled it to herself and began humming as she looked at the lyrics she had written that day:
Darkness and sickness The developing kind So many feelings in my heart that scream out inside...
She then stopped and thought carefully, "What else could go with this song..." she then continued to hum out the tune hoping to get some more lyrics out of it.

d r a c o malfoy * i see your dirty face, high behind your collar. what is done in vain, truth is hard to swallow. so you pray to god, to justify the way you live a lie. live a lie, live a lie. and you take your time, and you do your crime. well you made your bed, i’m in mine . draco huffed as he finally tossed his paper onto mcgonagall’s desk. he hated that woman, and he was sure she knew that verywell. she looked up at him and smiled, and he smirked, before turning quickly on his heel and barging out of the classroom. he groaned in frustration as he plowed down the hallway. a few first and second years turned their attention towards him and he almost turned to lash out at them. he took in a deep breath though, and knew none of them were worth his time. his stomach growled, but he ignored it. all he wanted to do was sit down in his common room, and relax.
he practically flew down the stairways and down to the dungeons. his common room was in sight. he plowed to the door, the portrait was sleeping soundly. draco hissed under his breath, and the portrait sprung awake. “ohh mr. malfoy, how lovely to see you” it started. draco raised a hand to silence the object, “pure-blood” he said, reciting the password. the portrait looked hurt for a second, before continuing, “manners, dear draco, you should learn them.” draco had had enough, “just open the blood door!” he hissed. the portrait rolled it’s eyes before allowing draco through.
draco let out a sigh of relief as he entered the familiar common room. the comforting colors of green and silver filled the room. his fellow slytherins waved slightly at him and he acknowledged them by a quick nod. although a few students were lagging behind in the common room, it was fairly empty. his rumbling stomach told him where most of his fellow slytherins were; dinner. he groaned, he was hungry, but his tiredness was getting to him more. besides, he’d sneak down to the kitchen later, and have the house elfs make him whatever he wanted anyway.
he made his way over to the fireplace. it was one of his favorite features of the room. he plopped quickly into an arm chair, letting his body relax. he closed his grey eyes. the fire wasn’t sending off heat, considering the weather hadn’t gotten cold yet. but it’s crackling noises were relaxing. after a few moments, his stresses seemed to melt away. he reopened his eyes. he finally glanced at the couch. another fifth year, who he really didn’t know much about, had her hair hanging off the side of the couch. he leaned up a little to see her face. kyraina smith. he didn’t know her very well, but he needed someone to talk too. “hey, you’re kyraina right?” he asked.

Kyraina's eyes were closed as she had laid back out before Malfoy had come back in and she sighed heavily tired, but really hungry as well. Hearing hard footsteps on the floor of the commonroom she smirked knowing it had to be him or one of his cronies who she didn't really care for. When he sat down on one of the arm chairs she looked over and then smiled closing her eyes again waiting for him to say something.
Feeling his eyes on her Kyraina smiled a bit more and then when he asked if she was Kyraina she smirked, "That's me... And your Draco Malfoy the wonderous Quiditch player of our house, Prefect, And..." She turned away whispering under her breath hoping he wouldn't hear, "gorgeous..." She then turned back her composure back, "Anyways how has your day been... I mean classes suck as usual and god i wanted to sock some frickin gryfindor's today as well as a teacher or two having to load us up with god damn homework left and right ya know?" She then smirked laying her notebook on the table with the initials of her family and their crest of a golden cobra wrapped around a cross on it.
"Have you seen that pansy Pansy around? I mean she is always hanging over you like a lost puppy dog... no offense but it is kind of pathetic that she does that... there are more girls in here that like you that you don't even realize that are more subtle and way better then she is..."

The bell rang signaling the end of classes. Sighing, Pansy hurried to scribble down the rest of her sentence. Finishing, she shoved her book, quill and ink back into her bookbag, and stood up from her chair. She turned to the desk beside hers. Draco was not there. A frown formed on her thin lips, and her eyebrows furrowed. Snatching up her assignment, she made her way toward McGonagall's desk. Not even looking at the professor, she flung the parchment onto her desk and hurried out of the room.
Pansy walked down the corridor, in the direction of the Great Hall, adjusting the strap of her bag as she walked. She growled under her breath, glaring at the back of the person walking ahead of her. They were moving far, far too slow. Getting impatient, she pushed past them, purposefully hitting their side as hard as she could with her bag. Picking up her pace, she shot a look back at them. Hufflepuff. Disgusting. Pushing her way past a few more Hufflepuffs, she finally reached the Great Hall. Pansy strode across the hall, to the Slytherin table, looking up and down it for Draco. Again, he wasn't there. Sitting down, she wondered where he was. She poured herself a glass of pumpkin juice and waited. Some time passed and there was still no sign of Draco. Pansy drained the last of her juice and stood, forgetting about eating. Finding Draco was more important.
Taking the stairs down to the dungeons two at a time, she nearly ran into another Slytherin who was coming up. She ignored them as they mumbled something angrily. "Pureblood," she said clearly, before practically flying into the common room. Draco! she thought excitedly, spotting him in front of the fire. Her excitement faded instantly at the sight of the other girl he was talking to. Hearing Kyraina's words, she swelled with anger. Her hands clenched into fists, and she stuck her nose in the air as she strutted over to them. Forcing herself to relax and pulling a smile, Pansy dropped down onto the arm of the chair Draco was sitting in, blocking the other girl's view of him. "Draco!" she exclaimed. She gave a small pout. "Where did you go? You weren't at dinner," she simpered, crossing her arms and tilting her head. She paid absolutely no attention to the fact that she had just broken up his conversation with the girl on the couch.

pansy. shit. draco groaned allowed, knowing that he had left pansy sitting in mcgonagall’s class. she was probably off searching for him now. he did however feel a bit hurt at the words kyraina had said. sure there were times where pansy was all over him, but there were times when she wasn’t, and besides he liked when she was all over him, it made him feel needed. he also knew that kyraina was right about the other girls. tons of them wanted him, and he knew that, he liked that as well.
as if on cue, pansy appeared. he offered a smile towards her, knowing she had been a bit jealous of the kyraina whom now lay behind pansy. “i’m sorry love, i had to get out of mcgonagall’s, it was driving me insane, and dinner just would’ve made it worse” he explained keeping his eyes on her. she was pretty, one of the prettiest he had met. he pulled her arms from her chest, and intertwined one of her hands with his. “we can sneak off to the kitchens later” he promised with a wink. his mind briefly wander to kyraina. was she going to say anything? he thought it best to shut him mouth for a bit.

Kyraina nodded as Draco talked about Mcgongall, "Your right there... she absolutely hates me... I don't know what I ever did to her, but I..." She then heard Pansy and then saw her as she sat down on Draco's lap and her face fell to a crest fallen look as she sat down on his lap and smiled at him. When he looked at her with a real kindness her sadness deepened even more the sadness rising to her eyes, "Hiya Pansy..." She looked away as Draco entwined his hand with Pansy's and tears sprang to her eyes, but she hid then and slowly stopped them before then made it all the way down her face.
When he called her Love she got angry and her hands gripped tight into fists, but then she let them relax and let the pale color return to her hands, "I see... I really do see..." She looked up her look so hurt that anyone would have understood what she was feeling right then. Pulling her notebook back to her she sat up and dug her nose into her lyrics scrawling down angry lyrics of hate and remorse. She then smiled slowly as she thought carefully and sniffled.

The pouty expression remained on Pansy's face. She listened to his expalanation and nodded, but still looked rather unhappy. She knew that often got her what she wanted with him, which like most of the time, was his attention. Or, more of it, and preferably alone. It wasn't until he took her arms in his hands, pulling them away from her chest, then entwined their fingers, that she again, nodded slowly in understanding, and let the frown fade. It was replaced by complete blankness, for a second. It literally lasted for only a second, as a smile curled her lips at his words.
Pansy's lips parted with intention to finally reply to him verbally. She froze at the other girl's greeting. Deciding to ignore her for the moment, Pansy returned all her attention to Draco. "Okay, darling, that sounds great," she pulled his hand that was entwined with hers closer and pressed her lips to his knuckles for a brief moment. Taking his hand away from her lips, but keeping it close to her still, she met his grey eyes again. "And I'm sorry about McGonagall, that...woman, needs to pull the stick out of her ass," she said in a sympathetic voice.
Pretending as if she had only just realized the other girl was behind her, Pansy turned her head. Not even looking straight at her, just glancing out of the corner of her eye, Pansy gave a slight smirk. "Oh, hey...err...who are you again?" she asked with a somewhat sarcastic tone. She truly didn't remember the girl's name, but she had to add a bit of scorn as it was obvious she was trying to go for her man. Her man, Draco was hers.

Transfiguration had been horrible today, with difficult work and a mountain of homework. Therefore when the bell rang signaling the end of class for the day and the start of lunch, Daphne bolted straight to the Great Hall, ready to fill her stomach. She'd filled her plate up on sheperd's pie and some treacle tart after she wolfed down the pie. It was a filling meal, one that made her feel warm and a little sleepy. Strangely enough though, neither Pansy or Draco was there, her usual dining companions. It wasn't so out of the ordinary when Draco missed dinner, a usual thing for him lately. But Pansy? Well, perhaps because Draco missed..Shrugging off the thoughts, Daphne stayed a bit longer in the Hall to socialize and just not think about the homework she was going to have to finish later on tonight.
Once dinner ended, Daphne was glad that her common room was so close by. Already she could feel herself getting exhausted from the day, and was just looking forward to taking her shoes off, slipping her tie off (which she'd already loosened), and relaxing by the fireplace. Reaching the lower levels of the castle where her common room was located, she could feel the drafty cold biting into her skin. It was already autumn, soon to be winter, so the cold wasn't a surprise. Reaching the portrait that hid the entrance to her beloved common room, Daphne uttered the password and the portrait swung forward to familiar green and silver. Stepping in, Daphne saw the familiar faces of her fellow housemates, and the very especially familar faces of Pansy, Draco, and Kyraina, all in her year.
Stepping near the trio, Daphne could already feel an air of animosity. Obviously something had gone wrong while she was at dinner. Noticing the strange seating arrangement, with Pansy inbetween Kyraina and Draco, and Pansy going into her possessive mode, while Kyraina seemed a little upset, Daphne smirked. She put two and two together, and guessed that perhaps Kyraina had gotten a little too close to Draco for Pansy's comfort. Setting her bag down on the floor and sitting down next to it while in front of the other three, Daphne made quick to remove her shoes, massaging her green and silver-clad feet.
"These shoes are a killer. I think my feet grew," Daphne said, blue eyes looking up at them while a pale hand placed a loose strand of blond behind her ear. "So what've I missed?" Daphne's lips curved into a smirk as she asked this, knowing that whatever it was, it was not pleasant.

daphne’s arrival had come to a relief for draco. “daphne!” he greeted, probably to loudly. he had grown up with her and knew he could practically tell her anything. he thought it best to conversant with her, instead of kyraina and pansy right now. draco chuckled lightly at her comments. “uhh..you know..the usual” he spoke. it had kind of become a usual thing, not that he didn’t like it. he enjoyed it when pansy stood her ground, it was pretty attractive. “how was dinner?” he asked, trying to find something else to chat about.

Kyraina's face was a picture of pure disgust and anger as the two continued to chat away like she wasn't even there. When Pansy looked at her smirking and then asked her who she was she lost it, "IT'S KYRAINA!!!" She then stood about ready to leave when she noticed Daphne enter and she sat down again, but only for a moment. When they began talking again she shook her head threw her notebook at Draco's head missing and it flying over his head and behind the chair and into the shadow's and she left up towards the girl's dorms.
Shaking her head as she left she cursed and shouted at the top of her lungs, "Stupid idiotics!" She sighed then tears coursing down her face as she cried and cried hard, "I can't believe I can think to compete with them... They're so much prettier and stuff god i'm stupid..." With that she lay out on her bed and cried herself to sleep.

The secret door into the common room opened, but Pansy did not bother to look over and see who had entered. It never really was very important, unless she was waiting for someone to come down to the common room. At the moment, it was even less important. If it was someone she would even care to talk to, or who wanted to talk with her, they would come her way. It was as simple as that. The other girl's yell shook her out of her thoughts. "Hm, lovely. Fuck off, Kyraina," she muttered, before turning back to Draco. Pansy hoped the girl took her seriously and got the hell out. Better yet, went and pitched herself off the Astronomy tower. She needed to just lose whatever delusions she had about Draco ever going for her. The leap off the Astronomy tower would do that for her; no one would miss her.
"Daphne!" Pansy's greeting was a bit over-enthusiastic. It was mainly in relief of a distraction from Kyraina. Perhaps if they were to start their own conversation, discluding the third girl, she would get finally the clue. As if her thoughts had been read, Pansy noticed Kyraina suddenly getting up out of the corner of her eye. She ducked as the notebook came flying in their direction, before throwing the nastiest look she could muster toward Kyraina. It was, however, too late; the girl was off up the stairs. Finally.
Hearing Kyraina's yell of despair, Pansy rolled her eyes and snickered. Half amused, half in disbelief. "How the bloody hell did that dumb bitch end up in our magnificent house?" she said, rather louder than intended, her eyes flickering between Draco and Daphne, a look of disgust on her face. Sighing, she shook her head. "Anyway..." she muttered. "How was dinner, Daphne?" she echoed Draco's question, suddenly wishing she had, had something more than pumpkin juice as her stomach growled.
((sorry this is pretty sucky, still wasn't exactly sure what to say))

With a greeting as enthusiastic as the one Daphne recieved when she found her friends, she wondered why the other houses called the Slytherins a bunch of depressing prats. She felt honestly missed, even though she knew it was just to avoid an awkward moment that Daphne had been lucky enough to miss. Smiling at Draco and about to answer him, Kyraina interrupted, throwing a bit of a hissy fit, and even throwing her notebook at Draco's head. It was rather disturbing , actually, and left Daphne with her mouth a bit open in shock. She watched Kyraina run up the steps crying, and jumped a little when the door slammed. It was strange for someone surrounding Daphne, especially a fifteen year old Slytherin to be like that, but Daphne just shrugged off the thought. Everyone was different, she supposed.
Laughing a little at Pansy's comment, Daphne just shrugged and looked back at the girls' dormitory as she heard another scream come from there, obviously Kyraina's. The violent behavior was actually scaring Daphne a little, who always felt the need to move around when something like this happened. So she did. Getting up, she walked near the fireplace and picked up the notebook that Kyraina had thrown. "Oh yes, dinner was very good, thanks. You missed out on sheperd's pie," she answered, a little distractedly now though. Although Daphne wasn't nosy, she was curious. And this notebook definitely piqued Daphne's interest. She sat back down where she'd been before, flipping through the pages of Kyraina's notebook.
"I suppose this isn't for Transfiguration," Daphne stated with a smirk, as she read through the lyrics and personal notes written there. She felt rather bad for doing it; if she were a better friend she would have gone upstairs after Kyraina. But it was Kyraina's own fault, after all. She was the one who was throwing around a notebook containing such personal information. "Ha, hey you two want to take a look at this?" Daphne asked with a grin and a mischeivous glint in her blue eyes. Although Daphne was not a resident prankster as perhaps the Weasley clones were, she certainly did cause her fair share of trouble.

he turned to pansy, and shrugged a bit, he had no idea kyraina was going to throw a fit. draco watched as the dark haired beauty, smirked and commented loudly, something he had always been fond of in her, she was brutally honest. his grey eyes then moved to the other blonde in the room. daphne was near the fireplace, picking up the notebook that had just been thrown at his precious head. pansy mimicked his question and he smiled, finally feeling a bit at ease. “bloody hell, i love shepherd’s pie” he commented. he shrugged it off though, he’d get some later.
“I suppose this isn't for Transfiguration" daphne said. draco malfoy found himself smirking. he liked snooping, it was his thing. curiosity would always get the best of him. he took the book from daphne and thought about flipping through it himself. instead, he handed it to pansy, with a smirk. he’d read it later.
