``TEAGAN RAE SMITH!
Teagan made her way up the stairs that led to the astronomy t ower. Despite the fact that it wasn't one of her favorite subjects, it had always been one of her favorite rooms to occupy during her free time. Of course, she'd always made her own free time as she wasn't the type to worry about being out past curfew or anything of the like. Stepping into the room, she wrapped her arms around her frame, wishing briefly she'd worn a thicker shirt, as there was a rather intense chill in the tower.
Moving over towards a darkened corner of the room, she snagged some of the throw pillows that were there and sat down on top of them. She pulled her knees up to her chest, staring absently out towards the balcony. She longed to go outside, but having abruptly deciding to come up here, she knew she'd freeze if she went out there in the entire bit of wind in the clothing that she was wearing at the moment. A frown crept onto her lips at her spontaneous nature ruining something festive for her, but she didn't bother to focus on it, as she let her mind wander.
The young girl picked at a hole that was frayed into the knees of her jeans, tugging at the strings that were attempting to pull free from the matieral. Turning her head towards the door, she was positive that she'd heard a noise. Perhaps it was some other student outside coming towards the room, or one of the professor's...or, she frowned, even Filch. Only the first of those options seemed appealing, unless it happened to be one of the Professor that she preferred, which were generally the younger and more attractive ones. And for some reason that she'd never understood, Snape. She had to count that one off to his voice, which she thought was intensely enjoyable, even on the numerous times that he'd been scolding her.
Waiting for a moment, she continued to look towards the door. Her dark hair was falling into her face, while her hood was pulled up over her head. She wasn't sure if she had actually heard anyone at all, or if it was just simply one of the noises that the castle seemed to make during the evening. She would have hoped for someone of interest, however, as she hadn't been able to track down anyone that she particularly wished to visit with before she'd came this direction.
