Adelisa, in blatant terms, was very very bored. She lay on one of the couches upside down staring into the fire. "I need something to do." She mumbled while sighing. Pushing forward she kicked off the couch and stumbled, landing on her butt close to the fire. "Ow." She stood and dusted herself off, ignoring the stares from the other students in the room. She ran her fingers through her curly dark hair and sat back down on the couch, this time the right way.
She took out a piece of strawberry gum and popped it in her mouth, savoring the sugary flavor. Licking her lips to catch whatever remained of the sweet flavor she began to snap her gum. First the sound was dulled from the fact she wasn't exactly done chewing it thoroughly but soon it increased in volume, successfully annoying every single person in the room. "Will you stop that!?" A first year said.
Adelisa frowned and gave the little kitten a hard stare, and the poor first year began to shift uncomfortably. "If you don't like it, then leave. No one's making you stay here." She said before turning back around and snapping her gum again. Annoyed, over half the students in the common room abruptly left, the other half didn't care much at all anymore.
