Lauren headed down to the third floor, and looked around rather carefully. She had to make sure that her brother wasn't here to see all of this. He would have one of the biggest freak outs ever if he saw her hanging out with a Slytherin girl. Once she saw that the coast was clear, she relaxed a bit, leaning against a wall slightly. A smile came across her face, and she was truly looking forward to the person that she had sent the notes back and forth with. They sounded pretty cool, and nothing like what she would call the 'bad Slytherins' who treated everyone that wasn't in Slytherin and a pure-blood like mud. One of these examples of course, would be like Pansy Parkinson and Draco Malfoy. They both were really bad about acting like they were better than everybody else all the time.
But, she was going to see what they both had in common and try to see if she had any good ideas for a paryt after all the ball stuff was over. She thought that it would be fun to have her own party for once, and just have it be a free for all for everybody. The sixth year knew that this would displease her brother, but she was just trying to really enjoy the last two years that she had at Hogwarts. As far as she was concerned, nothing was wrong with that at all. But, Xavier would always have a problem with that, no matter how much she actually did her work and got really good marks. She knew that Xavier was always a little bit of a goody-two-shoes, and that nothing besides something really major would ever change the way he was about things. Even if the was missing out on a lot of fun.
She sighed a bit, and looked around the pretty much empty floor, she knew that most people were off doing something else, and that was why this was one of the ideal floors for them to talk at. There were a few others, but this was the one that she had chosen today. Plus, it was rather unsuspicous since the girl's bathroom was on this floor as well. As far as anybody knew, they had seen each other in the bathroom, and had started their conversation after they left it. It made a lot of sense to her at least.

a p r i l moore * romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone. i’ll be waiting; all there's left to do is run. you'll be the prince and i'll be the princess it's a love story - baby just say, yes april almost sprinted out of her muggle studies class, after receiving her final note from lauren. that girl was a life-saver. she was sure if she didn’t have that distraction, she’d be in the hospital wing right now, recovering from a near death experience. she spun on her heel to wave to a few friends, who gave her a strange look. she rolled her eyes towards them, this wasn’t the first time she was skipping class to go somewhere. why were they so surprised? she shrugged them off and gave a small wave before letting her ballet flat clad feet carry her to the nearest staircase.
her robes wacked against the back of her caves as she traveled down the staircase. she groaned and pulled them off casually, receiving a few glares from other stair goers. what hadn’t they seen a girl take her robes off before? it wasn’t like she wasn’t wearing clothes underneath it, dear merlin. her tiny feet hit the steps one last time, and she swiveled in and out of students heading to their classes to get off.
once on the third floor, she glanced around. she rarely came up here, she didn’t have any classes up here, and her dormitory was way below this floor, so she never felt the need. she skipped around a bit, receiving many strange glances, but when the bell rang, they all leapt to their classroom doors. she giggled lightly and padded over to the nearest door. she pushed it open slightly, and discovered a bathroom.
upon entering, the bathroom looked like all the other’s at hogwarts. not that she had been in any besides the girls of course… she padded in further, and her face filled with curiosity. she was a very curious girl, probably not a good quality, but she sure loved it. she hummed lightly as she spun in circles down the titled floor. she briefly had forgotten why she had come up here in the first place, and quickly regained her control of her brain and spinning body.
she padded out to the hallway again, and looked around, spotting a girl, who she probably had missed before. she skipped over, readjusting her robe over her arm and extended a hand to the girl. ”hi, i sure hope your lauren, otherwise you’re going to think i’m really strange”.

She chilled there for a bit longer, and then started to wonder where the person was. It was a bit odd that they had not shown up yet, but now she saw them in front of her a few seconds later. "Yup. That is me." Lauren grinned with a smile on her face. The girl was rather excited looking, and she felt that excitement rub off a little bit. The sixth year took the hand that was given to her and shook it. It seemed that this person was very nice to say the least. She put her hand she used to shake her's with back to her side and looked around the place for any sign of people that would want to rat them out. "So how have you been?" This was as if she was asking an old friend that question, even though it had been the first time that the two of them had truly seen each other face to face.
"I've seen you around the halls I believe." Most people you saw in the halls, and she hadn't noticed that much that had made April different from the other students at school. It just proved that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. "So what do you think the theme of my party should be?" Lauren hadn't asked anyone else this, but it would be interesting to have some sort of theme to it. It would be better than just throwing a random party with really no ryhme or reason. She wanted to have fun with it. "I bet it is going to be a blast." Even though it was the first time the sixth year had set up at party, she already knew that people would be attracted to it and want to come. Xavier might even, and she knew how fond he was about not breaking the rules no matter what.
She thought a little bit, wondering what else they could bring up. "So who is your brother? And why are they so protective anyways?" Lauren knew that she was messing around a bit, but part of her was serious. The sixth year honestly wanted to know who to avoid. She knew that Xavier was going to freak with all that she was planning, but caring had vanished the moment that she had gotten really into it. No one could really blame her, though she loved her brother dearly, she knew that he had no real guts to stand up to her. "My brother thinks all Slytherins are bad, but I know that he cannot stop me from doing what I want to do with my life." There was a slight pause at that before she continued. "He's head boy this year. His name is Xavier." She mused, knowing that he didn't have the guts to get his sister in trouble no matter what she did.
This was going to be fun. There was so much that she wanted to do this year, and they could have fun togehter since it was class time, and she knew the way out of Hogwarts. They could always hang out at Hogsmeade, and just enjoy their time until dinner came along. Her father said that he didn't mind her jipping as long as she didn't do it very often and kepted up with her work for the most part. And, that was just what she did, and she had a blast doing it.
