Adelisa was panicked. Completely. Anderson was missing, and he was only 5 weeks old. "He couldn't have gone far." She tried to calm herself as she chewed her fingernails. Running around frantically no one really seemed to care. Where's Tonie when you need her!? "Aaaaanderson." She called out sweetly, hoping to attract the lost kitten. She sighed and entangled her fingers in her dark hair. She felt bad having let her gaze wander from him for a few moments.
Biting her lip she rushed into the great hall and was hit in the face with the smell of cinnamon roles and warm toast. Her stomach growled but she ignored it, thinking Anderson far more important than her eating. "They say pets always come back but what if he can't find me!?" She was mumbling to herself, her stomach clenching nervously. If someone picked him up or if he got hurt.....she couldn't think like that. It hurt her to much.
Sighing she decided to start with smart people to ask, the Ravenclaw table. Walking up to a Ravenclaw boy and tapping his shoulder she hoped to Merlin he had seen him. "Excuse me, I lost my kitten. He's a long haired gray Tabbie names Anderson, he's only 5 weeks old and I'm worried."

Morning had come around much too fast after staying up late into the night. Alixei was woken by a bright ray of sun shining through the hangings of his four-post bed. He blinked, rubbed his eyes and reclosed them, hoping for a little more sleep. A loud snore came from the next bed closest to his. Heaving a sigh, he got up and out of bed. He could never fall back to sleep with the other boy's usual snoring, it was pointless to try, it would just be a waste of time.
Alixei quickly changed into his school uniform, highlighted his eyes with black and teal and turned to the mirror beside his bed. Concentrating hard, he watched as the streak of color through his black hair changed to all vibrant teal, matching his eyes. Slinging his bag over his shoulder he wandered out of the dormitory and down to the Great Hall. A slight smile formed on his lips at the strong scent of cinnamon. The smell was amazing, and as he soon found out, so was the source; Hogwarts cinnamon rolls. Pulling a book from his bag, he propped against one of the pumpkin juice jugs and began to read as he ate.
Reaching out to turn the page of his book, he froze at the tap on his shoulder. Turning his head, he listened to the girl's rather frantic words, before nodding with a smile. "I think I saw a grey tabby. There are so many cats around here, though, I can't be entirely positive," he replied thoughtfully. "When and where did you last see him?" he asked, wondering if it had been around the same place he had seen a kitten not long ago.

"Well I was playing with him, and by playing I mean coddling, outside the library and I turned away for a minute and he was gone!" She was very animated as she talked, making nonsensical hand gestures and throwing her hands in the air to exaggerate her point further. Frowning her stomach growled again and she flushed lightly in embarrassment. "He's such a curious little thing that's why I'm so afraid I don't want him getting into to much trouble."
She crossed her arms and pouted slightly, seeming even more worried than before. She disregarded the other stares she got from various members of other tables.

Alixei nodded along with her words in understanding. He made a soft humming noise, tapping the side of his leg as he thought. It didn't sound much like the grey tabby kitten he had seen on his way down. The kitten hadn't been anywhere near the library. Then again, it could have traveled fast. It was possible that it was the same one.
"Well, the kitten I saw wasn't anywhere around the library," he said slowly. "I suppose it still could have been yours, but if it was then it's obviously getting around fast and probably isn't where I saw it anyway. I can help you look for him, if you would like, though," he offered. Ignoring the fact that she was starting to cause somewhat of a scene, he grabbed his book, closed it and placed it back into his bag. Then, if she said she wanted help searching, he could get up and go.

Her eyes lit up and she hopped back so he could stand. "Oh, really? You'll help?" She clapped her hands and smiled brightly. Glancing at a cinnamon roll she picked it up and stuck her finger in the gooey icing. Licking the sweet substance off her fingers she turned and began walking, knowing once she got from the great hall the sweet smell would attract Anderson for sure.
Clicking her tongue she sighed. "He's going to get in a lot of trouble, he's such a curious little thing." She turned her gaze to Alixei and smiled. "Pardon me, what's your name? I'm, Adelisa Ticking Cloquewerk."

Alixei nearly laughed at how enthusiastic and animated the girl was, and had been the entire time, even as she was nearly pouting over the lost kitten. Holding the laughter, back, he just continued to smile kindly at her as he nodded. "Yes, of course, there's some time before classes start," he answered, shooting a glance at the clock. Standing up, he put the strap of his bag back over his shoulder and followed the girl out of the Great Hall.
"Well, the kitten I saw was down that way," he said, pointing toward a corridor to the left. "We could start looking there, if the one I saw was yours, he might still be in the area," he suggested. He turned and looked down at her, giving a quiet chuckle. "Oh, sorry, I'm Alixei Raven. It's nice to meet you Adelisa."
