Daniel was heading out of the common room, and was planning to head for breakfast since it was a Saturday after all. He seemed to have a calm expression on his face, and seemed unbothered by the world around him. This was mainly due to the fact that there weren't very many Slytherins around to pick on him. All the same, he started to pass the stair cases, and shook his head as he saw a first year get stuck in the trick step. Daniel went up with a pleasent smile and helped the first year out of the mess that they had made for themselves. The young girl blushed a little. Muttering a barely audible thank you before taking off towards the great hall in order to eat their own breakfast. First years were a little odd, he had to admit that to himself very once in awhile.
He was walking at a rather slow pace. There was no need to rush there in his opinion, even though a lot of people were doing that it seemed. Daniel knew that soon the Quidditch season would start, and the Hufflepuffs would try to make a name for themselves again. It was too bad that Cedric was their only hero, and now he was dead in gone. He looked around just slightly, and saw a few people at a slow pace like he was. The fifth year smiled slightly, this school always seemed to be away from the choas of the outside world no matter what happened out there. He loved it here.

With her long, blond, curly hair hanging loosely down her back, Luna skipped happily away from the ravenclaw common room and down through the corridors. Being a saturday morning, Luna wanted to get down to the Great Hall, eat some breakfast, then possible head on over to Hogsmeade. The thought of exploring around the town aimlessly today, was always something the girl would look forward too.
But for now, the girl continued to skip off towards the Great Hall. She didn't hear the commotion of many voices and people coming from the huge room; Luna knew that she had gotten up early, but didn't think it had been too early. Shrugging the thought away, found her eyes gazing up towards the ceiling of the Great Hall. A dream-like look to her features, and soft smile to her lips seeing that it was going to be a nice day out today. Still gazing up towards the ceiling, Luna skipped into the Great Hall, but came to a stop when she found herself bumping into another body. Catching herself so she wouldn't fall, Luna tilted her head a bit and gave a soft smile to the other person "Oh, I'm sorry." in a quiet voice "I was looking up at the ceiling and wasn't paying attention."
