- - - two years today, exactly. what a wonderful occasion. two whole bloody years. it wasn't that hard for xavier to stay in a relationship though. it liked long-term ones. they were a lot more secure and xavier liked secure relationships. with family, and friends and girlfriends. it meant you could get serious and tell each other your secrets. and by god, did xavier have a few of those. but problem was, although he was trust-worthy he wasn't very trusting of others. and that was a pretty big problem when it came to his secret.
see, xavier was no normal seventeen year old boy. he was part of his house qudditch team, head boy at school and was getting straight O's across the board easily. he was perfect in every sense, except... he was a vampire. and it wasn't as if he could have helped it either. he was born into this dilemma, this hell. but he didn't drink human blood. god no, he was determined to live a normal life, there was a constant thirst that would never cease, however could be supsided by a human drink of water or pumpkin juice. but xavier was never actually fully satisfied.
no one knew his secret. only his sister, laura and his brother dylan. but they didnt count because he knew they wouldnt tell a soul about it. he couldnt have his perfect reputation destroyed by one little blabber mouth. but today was the day. the day he'd trust someone at last with his secret. after two years on intense close relationship, he was going to tell them. he looked at himself in the mirror of his dorm and threw a small tablet in his mouth and swallowed it with a bit of water. his fangs disappeared. these tablets were temporary and only lasted twenty-four hours. but he wasnt going to be out that long.
he looked himself up and down in the mirror once more. checking that his checked top was neatly on his back and chest and that his jeans we're positioned in the correct place. then he slipped on his shoes and sprayed some muggle deoderant over himself before jogging out of his dormitory and into the common room where he flopped onto the blue sofa and awaited for his 'date'/ he precious gorgeous beautiful 'date'.

grace had awoken today with a bright smile on her face. two years, wow. exactly two years ago today she had started seeing her long term boyfriend xavier. in her opinion, he was amazing. very clever, very successful, head boy in fact – not that any of that really mattered to her. she loved him for everything about him, he really brought her out of her shell, and helped to stop her from being so self conscious. she felt completely comfortable with him, and was extremely happy – grace hoped that nothing about her relationship would change soon. he was the person she was closest to apart from her twin, and she had never felt this close to anyone else. grace tended to form strong bonds with people because she didn’t talk to that many people – her quiet and shy nature prevented that from happening.
she was currently up in her dormitory readying herself for their date today. they were going out to hogsmeade, probably to a coffee shop or something, and walk around the town. it was a beautiful day – the autumn sun was shining, and there was only a light breeze. she was very much looking forward to their date, although she did already spend much of her time with xavier – free periods, they would study together, as well as breaks, and eating together – it was nice to get out of the castle and do something completely unacademic with him. the more she thought about it, the concept of having spent two years dating xavier made her smile – it seemed like an age ago that they first met, and she was so glad they had. two years. such a long time, grace couldn’t wait to see him.
not willing to let him wait, she began to dress quickly. she put on skinny jeans, and a tight white top, along with a long grey cardigan that she rolled the sleeves up on. it was quite simple, but she liked it. accessories were her favourite part of any outfit, and she found some bangles, sliding them onto her wrist. she also put on a pendant necklace. make up wise grace always wore simple make up; just a small amount of concealer and foundation to adjust a few parts of her skin, and black eyeliner and mascara to line and accentuate her bright blue eyes. her dark brown hair had already been straightened and hung cascading over her shoulders. she put on her white pumps, and quickly checked her appearance in the mirror, hoping that she looked okay, and slightly worried that she didn’t.
grace walked down the stairs to the common room, and saw xavier flopped over the sofa. she approached him, giving him a demure smile, and sat beside him, leaning into give him a peck on the cheek. “hi you.” she said in her quiet gentle voice. “all ready to go?”

- - - sure, xavier and grace had been dating for two whole years, but they'd actually known each other closely for three. although it was ages ago in xavier's eyes he could remember everything they'd ever done. that one year when they were just friends was perfect. they we're each others 'agony aunt' and they were both there when the other needed a hug or just generally cheering up. but it wasn't until a whole year later when xavier finally plucked up the courage to ask her out.
that was the reason xavier wasnt in gryffindor. his courage and bravery wasnt up to that standard. he'd always respected anyone who got sorted into gryffindor, even the first years. he found it quite strange how the young eleven years olds who were shaking from horn to hoof managed to get sorted into the house of bravery. though he couldnt blame them for their nervousness. he was exactly the same, if not worse. he could remember the event very well.
truth was, the sorting hat was going to place him in slytherin because of his determination and ambition. but being such a determined sort he simply refused slytherin in his mind and a few seconds later he was placed into ravenclaw, the house where his mother belonged. his vampire mother. it was a very bitter subject in xavier's mind. he disliked her for dying, though it was hardly her fault, but he believed they would be so much better off with her. which was true. yet, xavier was proud to be in the house of ravenclaw where his mother had once belonged. extremely proud.
xavier's bright eyes we're following the dancing flames that was already lit in the grate. it was mid-morning and warm outside so a fire was unnessecary but for some odd reason the light wasnt giving off any heat. after a quick thought over the matter he decided that they'd be some kind of charm that would only release heat to those who needed it. a small smile curled the left corner of his lips as he assured himself he was right as per usual.
“hi you.”
he knew that voice. he knew that voice too well. and at the sudden sound of it he jumped up from the sofa. xavier was quite the gentleman for a seventeen year old. he always stood when a lady entered his presence, it was only polite. he looked her up at down with his blueish eyes. "you look beautiful, as always." he smirked slightly and she kissed his cheek gently and he took her right hand in his left as she asked if they were ready to leave. "of course." he replied simply and began to walk towards to common room opening his hand entwined with grace's. "ive got something special for you." he said with a wink. he pulled his want out of his pocket and gave it a casual flick. suddenly a huge binch of flowers were resting on the banister of the staircase they were about to walk down. "happy anniversary babes." he said and returned her previous peck on the cheek.

grace smiled shyly as he complimented her. she found it quite difficult to accept compliments – she always thought they were a lie. her self-conscious nature and low self esteem made her think it was impossible for anyone to find her pretty, and it really made her down at times. it made her very happy when xavier complimented her because she knew he wasn’t lying, he wouldn’t do that to her not after three years of them knowing each other. wow, three years seemed like quite a short time in perspective to the rest of her life, but it felt like in those three years they’d grown just so close. as friends they’d always been there for each other, and the moment when xavier had asked her out she’d been overjoyed and ecstatic. it had been seriously unexpected, she was unused to people liking her in that way, and to have her closest friend (apart from olivia) feel that way was so brilliant. she’d said yes straight away, and here they were now about to celebrate two blissful years of happiness and love.
grace squeezed his hand gently as he took hers – her hand fitting perfectly into his, as if it was truly destiny that they should be together. she looked up into his eyes, a challenge that involved craning her neck, as he was a whole foot taller than her; she at five foot, he at around six. he made her seem tiny, and she kinda liked that; it felt cute. she followed him to the common room opening. as he proclaimed he had a gift for her, she murmured, “you really shouldn’t have.” the flowers appeared, and she couldn’t hide the beam on her face. he was so thoughtful so kind and caring – oh just wonderful. “how about i send them up to my dorm? we don’t want to have to carry them around hogsmeade with us.” she pulled her wand out from her back pocket, and flicked it deftly. the bunch of flowers disappeared – she knew that they’d reappear in her dorm into a vase of water. grace had mastered non-verbal spells early in the year, she didn’t really see how they were all that different from verbal spells – they just seemed to require a little more concentration.
she walked down the staircase that led out of the ravenclaw common room opening, the statue that marked the entrance, with xavier in tow. grace headed down the stairs, and out into the courtyard which led towards hogsmeade – following the other students who were on their weekend visit. grace loved hogsmeade, it held the same appeal to her as diagon alley; the wondrous shops, magical things, and just pure delight. her favourite shop was honeydukes – the smell of warm chocolate was absolute bliss to her. she turned to xavier, and said, “so where would you like to go first? and no saying that it’s my decision, you’re going to choose this.” she smirked slightly.

- - - xavier wasnt expecting a 'thank you' or any type of acknowledgement from grace. he knew she wasnt used to compliments. though xavier had been practically throwing them at her since they met. he knew she was shy when it came to stuff like that. so he just offered her and encouraging smile and quick contact with the eyes. xavier knew this girl almost inside out. he knew every little quirk and he loved them all. he would have said flaw to any other girl, but to grace it was a quirk. they weren't bad enough for flaws. grace was simply perfect in everyway to xavier.
it was one of those relationships that even the teachers got involved in. every teacher at hogwarts knew that grace and xavier were together and thought they were exactly right. every time xavier was about to walk out of charms the small professor flitwick enquired how grace was. being head of house, professor flitwick spent quite a lot of time with xavier seeming as he was headboy. it had been quite a while since they'd had ravenclaw headboy, the last few years it had been mostly slytherins and gryffindors with the odd hufflepuff thrown in. this year it was ravenclaw's time to shine. and wouldnt it be wonderful if they won the quidditch and house cup too. perfect year.
xavier felt a small squeeze of his hand and gently returned the favor. maybe it was do do with the legnth of time they spent holding hands, but it seemed that their hands had grown so they fitted onre another. grace had quite small hands, and a small frame whereas xavier had larger and and an extremely tall frame. his hands werent exactly big, but they were in proportion with his body. and thats all that mattered. but yet again, their was a certain quirkiness in their relationship with the height difference. everyone who spoke to him about it said they liked how they were a whole foot in size difference. xavier hardly thought about it and smiled slightly when anyone ever spoke about the subject to him.
"shouldn't have? are you kidding me?" he smiled and then arraged his features into mock suprise "of course i should have! do you want to know why?" he changed his expression to a mischievous smirk and before she could answer he said "because i have the best girlfriend ever." and he kissed her on the forhead gently. he watched carefully as she made the flower bouquet disappear. he nodded in an impressed way. she was getting pretty good at all this non-verbal malarky.
as the couple reached the courtyard there was the usual crowd of people waiting to be checked out of the school by filch the caretaker. today the whole event was being overseen by professor mcgonagall. he looked at the long que and then let go of grace's hand and jogged over to mcgonagall. "could we just go professor? me and grace really cant be bothered with a que." he put on a sort of masculine puup-dog-face and professor mcgonagall nodded curtly. "okay willis. yourself and miss morgan can go. i will sign you out." xavier grinned and spoke his thanks and jogged back to grace.
when they reached hogsemade grace's shy voice rang through the air again asking him where he wanted to go. he was just about to say that she could make the desicion when grace interrupted and told him that she wasnt choosing. he laughed openly before making a noise of decision. "hmm... madam puddifoots? you like it there dont you?"

the bright sunny weather made this day even more perfect for grace, it had not yet begun to become winter and so there was no need for coats, and hats and scarfs – she could just go out in cardigans and jeans without fear of getting cold, though she knew that xavier would try to keep her warm if she was cold anyway. she loved the way he knew everything about her so well – like every little tiny thing that she’d do and say, and what she meant all of the time. it just felt so right. she knew him to a similar extent – she thought. she knew his habits, and quirks and loved every one of them, and every single little thing that he would do just made him all the more interesting to her. as he called her the best girlfriend ever, she looked into his eyes, clearly showing her happiness at this. it also pleased her when he seemed impressed at her non-verbal spells – him being one of the cleverest wizards in the school meant that she felt she had to do really well at everything too, not that she didn’t. and it did help having him as a boyfriend, he’d taught her quite a lot of what she knew, and if grace ever had a problem she could easily turn to him and get him to help her out.
grace looked at the huge queue of people waiting to go out to hogsmeade. it was always so busy on hogsmeade weekends, everyone that could would go out to visit the town and buy things – no one wanted to miss the opportunity as they didn’t come along all that often. grace always wondered what it’d be like for the muggle borns, just how different it was from the muggle towns – it’d always seemed so strange that people would grow up without magic round the house at all times, she’d been introduced to it as a young child, and had always seen her step parents charming objects, and casting spells. for muggleborns it must have been so odd to come to hogwarts and see all the magic around. grace turned to xavier, about to ask him if he could do something about the queue, and noticed that he’d already gone. she saw him talk to mcgonagall, and smiled, he could always get what he wanted, it was brilliant. mcgonagall nodded, and xavier returned.
“madam puddifoots? yeah, it’s always really nice in there.” she smiled, pleased that he had made a decision. madam puddifoots was cool, the tea was always nice, and the atmosphere tended to be really friendly – usually only couples tended to go there. valentines day was always very important in there, and anyone who wasn’t on a date steered clear of it; the romantic vibes were strong enough to be felt back up at school. “shall we have some tea, and then go for a walk around the shops?” grace asked, already leading xavier in the direction of the tea shop.

- - - the autumn sun beamed down on them. it wasnt as intense as in the summer. xavier wasn't that keen on summer anyway, his pale skin and fair complexion ensured that he got burnt, without fail, every year. this was one thing that bugged xavier to the bone. the sun was also made cooler by the faint breeze that wipped around the couple. xavier's hair wavered slightly as it ran through the platinum roots. taking a deep breath he thanked merlin for such a wonderful day.
“madam puddifoots? yeah, it’s always really nice in there.”
xavier was alway a very indecisive sort. he never knew whether to deduct point or to just give some student a warning. usually he resulted in the warning, thats why he was such a popular head boy. nobody really hated him because he only took points of serious stunts. well, all the time with slytherins. how xavier hated all slytherins. untrustworthy, little inbred knobs that will run off to their 'dark lord' as soon as he returns, of which xavier believed potter and believed that he had. but xavier didnt bother with all this 'you-know-who' business. instead he called him 'the-slytherin-pimp'. this is because it seemed to liven the mood a little when anyone spoke about him.
xavier felt himself being dragged towards the small cafe. it wasnt his favourite place to be, he liked the three broomstick a bit better because it wasn't so flowery and well ... gay. but it was grace's day and he wanted to do something nice. and he did like a good ol' english cup of tea. having longer legs than graces he probably took one for every two of hers and still easily kept up. he found this quite amusing sometimes though if he was grace's height, it would probably annoy him. maybe his height was what made most of the students repect him. they didnt fancy their chances at probably the smartest and tallest boy in school. it wasnt just height though, because that would make him lanky, but he had a toned body from all his quidditch matches and training. this is was probably made him desirable from a girls point of view.
“shall we have some tea, and then go for a walk around the shops?”
xavier glaced at grace "yeah keep us busy," he paused in speech for a second before saying "want to go to the shrieking shack? i haven't been since third year and i just got a sudden urge to." he wasnt sure why, maybe it was because he wanted to see if it had changed, it probably hadn't, maybe because it was usually deserted and he wanted time alone with grace. but by that time they had reached madam puddifoots and xavier lead grace inside and looked around for a table. they were all full except one couple seemed to be leaving a table in the corner. xavier rushed across and waited for grace to sit down.

grace watched xavier as his bright blonde hair wavered in the wind, with a slight smile on her face. he was so gorgeous, and all hers. her own dark brown hair was blowing in the breeze. they looked like complete opposites, chalk and cheese. they just fitted so well, xavier was tall and pale and blonde, and grace was short and warm and brunette. she leaned into xavier as they were walking and gave a contented sigh – she was ridiculously happy, and felt completely safe and secure whenever she was with xavier, she couldn’t imagine life without him. she was having to walk quickly to keep up with him, his long legs made him much faster than she was, not that she minded, she loved being short, it made her feel kind of special. especially being as short as she was, just on the brink of five foot.
the short brunette opened the door to the fairly small cafe, and looked around hoping to quickly spot a spare seat. there didn’t seem to be any, there were couples sitting drinking tea absolutely everywhere – such a typical thing to see. xavier was faster than grace and saw the table first, she followed him over to the corner, and sat down. she picked up the small menu in front of her, and glanced across it – deciding almost immediately to just simply have a cup of tea.
she’d heard xavier’s questions about the shrieking shack as they’d entered, and replied, “oh sure. we’re doing something that i want to do, so we’re definitely going to do what you want to do.” grace wanted xavier to have the perfect day, because if he was happy, she’d also be happy. she didn’t mind the shrieking shack too much, the history of noises coming from it scared her a little at times, but because she hadn’t heard them herself, it just seemed like another ancient historical building that was dilapidated.
a waitress approached their table, and asked what they wanted, grace said quietly, “erm, could i have tea please?” she then looked to xavier expectantly to order. when the waitress left, grace began to speak to xavier. “so, how’s lauren and dylan doing? i haven’t seen your brother or sister around recently. is lauren up to her usual pranks?” grace wasn’t thattt close to xaviers siblings, but she knew lauren who was in her year vaguely well. they had a few lessons together, and grace had often seen the result of lauren and the weasley twins jokes. she wasn’t largely a fan, but as long as they didn’t hurt anyone she didn’t mind too much. “and honey, how are things with you? i know i’ve seen you lots recently, but i always want to know.” she smiled at him.

- - - madam puddifoots was, as usual, full of couples. though their was an odd group of slytherin girls sat in the corner. xavier turned his nose up at them. he hated slytherins so much, they couldnt be trusted. he believed that they should just chuck them all out. hadn't anyone but him noticed that everything bad that happened came from bloody slytherin. bloody knobheads. however, he wasnt going to let their presence annoy him so he looked at his surroundings of the cafe.
to be perfectly honest, they made him feel slightly sick. a bit like professor umbridge's office, it was pink with the odd bit of pale yellow and hundreds of love hearts and stars dotted around the place. "god... what would it be like on valentines day?" he thought to himself. xavier had gladly stayed away on valentines day, mostly because he knew that himself and grace wouldnt get in anyway, and the past two years, hogsmeade weekend hadn't fallen on the fourteeth of february. thank god.
however, this year, he wouldnt be so lucky. damnit. he had to take grace this year and he was already planning on taking sickness pills before he actually came to hogsmeade. though, xavier was a very gracious man. and he wasn't going to let grace see how he felt about the cafe. so he smiled at her encouragingly, hoping it was convincing but he was never awesome at lying. so he simply turned his attention to the table and sat down as soon as grace did.
the waitres scurried over and asked for their order. he waited for grace to give her's first before looking the menu a once over and saying "hmm, i think i'll give the tea a miss today and go for a banana milkshake." he grinned at the waitress who blushed and hurried off. then her turned back to the reason her was here. grace made the backdrop of the cafe so much more bareable, just having her in the room helped considerably. it was strange. only a veela could do this to any other male. but grace wasnt a veela of any sorts. no, she was just his. and that made her so special and so beautiful that he didnt care about anyone or anything.
"well laur is fine. though im not sure about the weasley twins being suck a bad influence on her." he pulled a disguested face and drumed his fingers on the table infront of him before carrying on "they just seem to get themselves and laur into trouble all the time." he shook his head at the thought of dylan "even i dont know about dylan to be perfectly honest... he works too hard. and well, i think he needs help." xavier hung his head and then looked back up at grace when she asked about him. "well, gracie baby. i have something to tell you. i've been meaning to but im scared that you'll hate me." a sad look appeared in his blue eyes. it sounded as if he was going to admit he'd been cheating on her or something dreadful.

grace knew as she was sitting there xavier was completely hating their surroundings – she knew that he disliked the sickening pink and yellow, and the completely lovey dovey atmosphere. and she also knew that he would be hiding how he felt about the tea shop just so that she would be happy, and she loved him for that. it was the little things that he did that made him perfect, he was baring being somewhere that he didn’t want to be for her, and to her that was love – pure and simple, i’d do anything for you stuff. it wasn’t that she was crazy about this place, it just seemed a little more romantic than going to the three broomsticks which always had a few drunk witches and wizards about – just didn’t really feel the same for a date. she didn’t have anything against the three broomsticks at all though, she liked going in there for a butterbeer once in a while – she just wanted today to be special, and it had been so far. grace was with the one person apart from her twin that she was completely happy with all the time, and things could not be better.
grace smiled as xavier ordered, and nodded slightly in approval of his choice. they did fantastic milkshakes here, well, actually most of the drinks were fantastic really – that was the one thing they got just right, the surroundings could of been changed a little at times – to attract a wider audience perhaps; it was almost all couples in here after all. she’d noticed the slytherins as xavier had, and hoped he wouldn’t react too badly to them – she knew of his real dislike for slytherins, and though mostly shared it, she liked to give everyone a chance – she wouldn’t judge them before she knew them.
she listened quietly as he answered hr questions, “mm, that’s true, but things seem to have been a bit quiet on the pranks front recently which is good to see.” she smiled slightly as he pulled a disgusted face. “at least as a prefect she needs to have some responsibility, i’m sure that must help a bit.” grace knew that dylan was having a rough time at the moment. “maybe you should tell him to relax, after all he has to listen to you, your his older brother! i’m certain you can do something about that.” grace smiled, she knew he’d sort things out, he was good at that. she listened as he spoke of himself, and suddenly her thoughts turned to horror. what was going on? were these the fateful words before he was going to tell her he’d been seeing someone else? she was desperately confused, and her happy mood had disappeared. she couldn’t meet his eyes, and replied very softly, “yes? i don’t think i could ever really hate you, no matter what it is.” she was praying in her mind that this wasn’t as bad as it was seeming to her.

- - - “mm, that’s true, but things seem to have been a bit quiet on the pranks front recently which is good to see.”
he scanned the whole room, taking in the vast amounts of couples around. quite a few were in a deep snogging action. he shook his head slightly, those sorts of relationships didnt last long. too much snogging and no talking wasnt a good sign. a few couples were simple having a chit-chat, he nodded in acceptance. that was a lot better. a lot more secure. he then looked back to grace and replied. "im bloody glad. laur says their waiting until after the ball anyway. so watch out then." he smiled slightly and winked at grace "you know, the twins have quite a remarkable respect for me considering im head boy. they used to be a nightmare to their brother, you know, percy." he thought on the subject for a moment before opening his mouth again and adding. "maybe its because i actually find them funny and dont remove any points."
“at least as a prefect she needs to have some responsibility, i’m sure that must help a bit.”
xavier threw his head back slightly and laughed. "to be honest gracie, i think dumbledore might have been drunk when he made the prefect list this year." he grinned at her, showing her his perfect pearly whites. jesus, was there anything bad about this guy? well, there was, just grace didnt know of it yet, hopefully. but if she did, xavier would know who would have told her. it would either have been laur or dylan. but today, today was the day he would tell her personally. finally, two years was enough.
he'd been putting it off and putting it off for ages. making loads of random excuses in his head. but he had to tell her, but what if she got offended that he hadnt already told her? oh merlin, that would be terrible. xavier's mind raced over every single aspect of the convosation that was to come. maybe it was safer not to tell her? no, he needed to tell her, no doubt about it. he had to. it was times like this when he wished he was a gryffindor. dear lord, he needed bravery now. "i wonder if laur wouldnt mind a personality transplant for a few minites?" he thought to himself.
“maybe you should tell him to relax, after all he has to listen to you, your his older brother! i’m certain you can do something about that.”
xavier clicked his tounge in thought. it was a small habit of his, and sometimes annoyed people but it certainly helped him see clear, even if people didnt understand. after three clicks he spoke quietly "ahh, but i think he feels threatened by me and laur... you see, he's in ravenclaw, but he's got to work bloody hard for those grades. i mean... do you see him any other place but the library, the commonroom, his dorm and classes?" he gave a small interval for an answer "i hate to admit it, but me or laur have to actually work hard for our grades. it just comes naturally. so i think he may get offended if we try and..." he tried to find a suitable word, but his brain seemed to fail him. something that only ever happened in front of grace. "you know." he finished lamely with a strange arm movement.
“yes? i don’t think i could ever really hate you, no matter what it is.”
xavier gave an uncertain shake of the head and quickly glaced around the room looking for any listening in. he couldn't afford to be overheard. not with this convosation. christ almighty no. he shuffled his chair further under the table and leant in closer to grace. "you know i'll be no different when i tell you. im still xavier and i love you." he paused and shot a glace around the room uncertainly then realised he'd left grace on such a horrible cliffhanger. "you have to understand its difficult for me to tell you... before someone else does." he sighed and stayed close to grace. he took her hand in he and whispered "i believe now is the time to tell you im... im... im a..." he sighed unwillingly and finished "im a vampire." he looked straight into her eyes.

grace grinned at the thought of dumbledore drunk. the idea of the fantastic wizard who everyone looked up to and respected being drunk was hilarious – she could just imagine him now prancing around absolutely insane – not that he didn’t seem that way at times, with the ridiculous comments he gave for speeches (“nitwit, oddment” etc). “maybe so, i don’t think she’s that bad a choice though; could’ve been worse.” grace smiled. she shook her head as xavier asked her if she’d see dylan anywhere else – it was true, he did just seem to spend his time in the same places. she felt kinda bad for him, she didn’t have to work hard for her grades, and she felt sorry for those people who did, she could imagine how stressful it could be at times.
as she waited for a reply, she shook in her seat – two years, and it seemed like this was the worst she’d felt in all that time. she was definitely thinking the worst, and couldn’t wait for this silence, this bare moment to be broken and for everything to hopefully be okay again. it was xavier, he wouldn’t have done anything to hurt her right? she trusted him absolutely completely, and did not believe he would cause her pain or anything. it was all she could do to nod when xavier said that he loved her – she didn’t trust her voice to speak.
grace heard what he was saying and was taken back, confused. a vampire? her xavier, he couldn’t be! it just seemed so improbable. but she knew he wouldn’t lie to her, and so he had to be. how, why? and why hadn’t he told her before? surely he’d known that she wouldn’t have minded wouldn’t have cared at all? it just seemed so odd to her – totally new and weird. she took a deep breath, before replying, “ oh.” she said simply pausing. “how? what happened xavier?” she was full of questions and couldn’t stop them from bursting out. “for how long?” she was really flustered. “i’m sorry, i’m just curious.” she wasn’t sickened by it at all, he was still xavier to her, just with a new spin. and she couldn’t imagine how bad it must be to hear all the bad press on vampires all the time. “what do you do when you know?” she didn’t think she could say the words – need blood, it seemed horrible to think that he would have to drink that.
outfit: clicky. notes: sorry at horrific lateness, and crapness.
