I WANNA KNOW WHAT IT'D BE, TO FIND PREFECT IN MY PRIDE--------------------------------------------------- she decided that it would be easiest to go here first. after all, it wouldn't be a big deal with dylan, right? he never seemed to be bothered by the things that seemed trivial to both herself and her brother xavier. which was actually rather troubling. all willises had a sense of humor and a unique sense about them, but dylan did not radiate this. he was busy trying to be her or xavier, which was just impossible. she headed over to him silently, not saying a word and sat down by him. she looked at the endless volumes of work that was in front of the both of them, and her mind wandered for a little bit, until she remembered what she was there for. that seemed rather typical of her now a days, always zoning she was having a harder time keeping focus on the present world.
"dylan." she said rather quietly, hoping to not surprise him too badly. lauren looked over at the book that he was reading and shook her head. "why do you keep cramming yourself?" she said out of genuine concern. the teenager then decided that it would be best to tell him why she was there in the first place. "i need to talk to you about something. it's very important and i am sure you have already heard part of the story already." that part of the story was when a mask woman in a red dress went over to george weasley and kissed him. lauren did not doubt dylan's intelligence, and thought that he probably knew that it was her the moment he had heard about it. "there is more to the story now that i need to tell you." hopefully, he would react anything like xavier would, she was guessing that his explosive temper was going to make him hard to deal with.
she went on, knowing that he was probably just listening. "well me and george are going out now and i thought that you should know." after that she left a pause there for a little bit before continuing on. "i haven't told xavier yet, because of his temper." the family was close, and they knew each other's quirks and diffculties, xavier's temper happened to be one of them. "and his lack of trust in anything i do." her voice sounded amused at this, as if the lack of trust was something that was very unnecessary and just came from him being an overprotective older brother.

the library was quite easily his favourite place in the whole school. he was surrounded by books and could get his homework done in peace. so dylan was sitting in the library again today, to do his homework. well, it was due in on friday. he didn't have much time. today was monday. dylan walked along the bookshelf, weighed down with the pile of books that he held in his arms. he smiled as he spotted another book and he added it to his towering pile. the ravenclaw staggered back to his table, thankfully dumping them onto it. settling himself into the chair, he took one of the books and began to thumb through it. when he found the chapter he needed he delved into the world of reading. he was now dead to the world outside his little 'fort' of books.
he had been reading for about twenty minutes when he heard his name being called softly. jumping slightly, he looked up worriedly, wondering who'd said his name. dylan smiled slightly as he spotted lauren, sitting beside him. he hadn't even noticed her. "why do you keep cramming yourself?" she asked. dylan glanced around at his books. there wasn't as many as he usually had. "i'm not. i'm fine..." he muttered. dylan had an idea as to why she was there, but waited for her to speak herself. "i need to talk to you about something. it's very important and i am sure you have already heard part of the story already." dylan rolled his eyes. of course he'd heard of some of the story. everyone was talking about it. and he had no doubts at all that his sister was going to say something big that had something to do with it. anyway, he had known it was her the moment he had first heard about it.
as she said that there was more to the story he raised an eyebrow slightly. what had lauren been up to? but no matter what she said, he knew that he wouldn't explode or anything. that was xavier's job. "well me and george are going out now and i thought that you should know." well. he wasn't really that surprised, if he was honest. "...nice," he said, wondering just what to say. he wasn't shocked or anything but he knew that lauren was going to say something more and he didn't want to go on for too long. when she said about xavier's temper he grinned. he was known to be a little too over-protective. dylan's grin widened when lauren commented that their brother didn't trust her. he was just that kind of person. now that he knew that lauren had stopped speaking he knew that he had to say something more about the whole going out thing or she'd get the wrong idea. "it was probably a good idea to talk to me first. xavier would scare you off," he started, smiling at the scare off part, "i think it's good that you and george are going out. you are really good friends and i'm sure you'll make a good couple." he finished, wondering whether he'd said enough.
