[*IMG}[/IMG*] I ASKED MY GIRLFRIEND IF SHE SEEN YOU 'ROUND BEFORE, she mumbled somethin' while we got down on the floor.

The once empty room was filled with several different colored lights and tons of Butterbeers from the Three Broom Sticks that she had gotten from there earlier that day. It had been a year of George and Lauren being together, but now he took off to do shop business with his brother Fred. She had invited them to come that night, but she didn't know if they were going to come or not. She herself had decided against leaving, knowing that Umbridge needed someone else to be angry at besides Harry Potter. It had been the one year that McGongall had refused to give her a dentition to her for any reason, and the only year that McGongall had really liked her. The year had been fun enough, except when Umbridge's crew found out about Dumbledore's Army and broke into it. The stuff that happened at the Ministry wasn't that good either, and then the summer... ...why should she being thinking about that?! It was a brand new year, and everyone was wanting to celebrate that today. They wanted to leave all their concerns behind, and the staff had actually allowed her to do this party and allow outside people she invited there.
She went over and opened the first bottle of Butterbeer and started to drink a bit of it. Lauren grinned at the thought of started that music track and having people go crazy on the floor of that large and mostly empty room. That would thrill her so much, and being the head of the party was what made it even better. The table that the Butterbeers was normal except the fact that there was a hand-made drawing of the crest of the school as a tarp on top of it. It was very nice, and she didn't look forward to the Slytherins that tried to take it as some sort of joke even though it was open to everybody and to the staff it was an official event. A lot of them loved to complain about everything and try to stir up some sort of trouble just because they could. Usually that was all the reason that Slytherins needed to try to ruin a night that was supposed to benefit everybody, including themselves.
The walls have the different house crests on them, and the overall atmosphere just encouraged a good time, without being getting drunk or high on anything. That was sometimes a problem at unofficial student parties, there was sometimes alcohol and other such things. Lauren was all for a good time, but people getting drunk or high was just something that she had never been into. She saw pranks, dancing like crazy, and hanging out with friends fun, not getting so drunk that what happened the night before would all be a big blur. Lauren had done all in her power with what was there to prevent that, but she knew that she couldn't stop the people that wanted to get drunk so badly that they end up sneaking stuff in.
OOC: I go first and I will update this list as people post and also put the list up in an OOC every time i do a post on here.
Oh, and this post isn't very good.

YOU WON'T EVER BELONG THE PLACES YOU END UP -------------- so why do you even bother?"Take it easy girl, it's just a stupid little party." Savannah murmured to herself as she stood out in the corridor with her face in her hands. She could actually feel herself sweating. She felt exhausted. She felt messy and disgusting. She hadn't even bothered dressing up. She'd thrown on jeans and a tank-top along with a well-worn pair of tennis shoes. Her cardigan sweater had a stain on one of the sleeves from breakfast that morning. She wore her reading glasses up on her head. She walked with a stagger when she moved. She felt like throwing up. Savannah knew she shouldn't have been headed for a party, but she needed to get out of the clutter that had become her mind. She needed to be thoughtless and reckless and stupid for one night. So, she'd heard about Lauren's party and decided to go. She wasn't in any state for it, but she was going.
What had turned her into this mess? Savannah had been having visions since the night before. She'd woken from a dead sleep and her mind had begun its wretched cycle. Th visions were of death and war. They were so vivid that Savannah knew the exact taste of the air when the dead lay in piles before her eyes. She knew the colors and shades of the areas that the events of the past, present, and future happened. She could still hear the sounds, the screams, the echoes of life pounding in her ears like a broken sound system. No, wait, that was the sound coming from the party on the other side of the wall. Savannah took a long breath and tried to be her normal, somewhat confident even if out of place self.
"If you don't get your skinny ass in there soon, people are going to start arriving and they'll ask why you're out here." Savannah carried on this conversation with herself. She almost thought that maybe, she was going insane. And then, she remembered all the things she'd seen in her life so far and she remembered that she pretty much defined the word insane. People talked about her psychological state constantly and Savannah hated it. She tried to shrug it off and leave it be, but there was always that constant reminder that she wasn't like any of them.
She moved her hands away from her face and pressed her back against the wall. She knew she'd regret this, but she pulled a flask out of one of the pockets in her cardigan sweater. She took a long gulp of the vodka and orange juice mix inside. She felt the gentle sting at the back of her throat and she made a slight hissing noise before taking another gulp of air to chase the drink down. She reached a hand to her forehead to wipe away a dribble of sweat. She dabbed under her eyes with her fingertips and realized her make-up was running. She didn't have any desire to care. Hopefully, by the end of the night, she'd be drunk enough that she'd pass out and stop having the visions. She hated them on days like those. She hated them enough to wish she was dead, but knew she was useful enough that she couldn't just kill herself.
Her tennis shoes screeched against the floor as she stepped too fast away from the wall. She walked into the room to be surrounded by dancing, partying teens. She didn't know a lot of them. She liked to keep things that way on purpose. She didn't want to know a lot of people. They made her feel even more out of place. She just wanted to blend in and dance with the crowd and stop that haunting feeling in her head that screamed that she could't do this, that she couldn't be with normal people.
She waved a tiny acknowledgement to Lauren and wandered over by the Slytherin house crest. She stood with her back to the wall and felt as if she were back at square one. If she could only pull herself together, she could be fine. She could be beautiful and magnificent and ordinary and regular all at the same time. She nodded at another passing Slytherin who looked vaguely familiar and then stared down at her shoes. "It's fine. I'm fine." She whispered to herself, reassuringly. Maybe, if she said the words enough times, they would finally be true. TAG! ``everyone WORD COUNT! ``891 OUTFIT! ``to never belongSONG! ``dancing with tears in my eyes - ke$haNOTES! whoo!!!! yay les, i'm glad you made this thread. <3

O U T F I T
For about two hours, Jaclyn had found herself outside, in the air on her broom flying around aimlessly without much of a care in the world. She knew of Lauren's party that was happening tonight and she was a little excited to go to it. But for right now, none of that existed while the girl was in the air, with the wind blowing through her hair. A smile was pretty much glued to her lips for the full two hours. It wasn't that she was practicing or anything, nothing of the sort. Though, she did long for Quidditch practice to begin soon, but for now, she was content with just flying aimlessly over the Forbidden Forest, over the lake and the castle itself.
Finally, Jaclyn flew to the ground and stopped just inches above the ground before dismounting her broom. A content sigh left her lips, as she ran a hand through her hair that was pretty much tangled up. A small laugh escaped her lips, as she shook her head to herself and began to make her way towards the ravenclaw common room with her broom in her hands. Jac gave the password and stepped inside and rushed to the girls dorm to put away her broom and grab a change of clothes before heading off into the bathroom. Lucky enough, she seemed to have it to herself and she quickly jumped into the shower, dried off and threw on her clothes.
For a few moments, Jaclyn stared a bit at her hair. Did she leave it down or just throw it up. She looked a bit at her outfit. It was a bit casual, nothing to dressy. Frowning a bit, Jac looked at her hair in the mirror and shrugged, as she ran her fingers all through it, sort off fluffing it out and just decided to let it hang down around her shoulders. Smiling a bit at herself, she slipped out of the bathroom and sat down onto her own bed and grabbed a pair of sneakers from, under her bed and slipped her feet into them. Jac opened up the beside table drawer, pulling out a pair of bow earrings and a blue three rose ring and put them both on.
On her way out of the girls dorm, Jac grabbed a light gray sweater and threw it on before making her way out of the common room and through the corridors of Hogwarts towards the room that Lauren's party was being held at. As she got closer, she could heard the sound of music mixed with the laughter and voices of her fellow classmates, along with some people from outside of their world. A small little bright smile came to the girl's lips as she stepped inside, waving and giving hello's to people she knew as she wandered a bit through the crowds.

It was literally like one of those scenes in the films. He may as well have been throwing crumpled balls of paper into a mound. Cormac had been lounging in one of the comfiest armchairs in the Gryffindor common room. He was slouched with his feet resting on a small wooden table in front of him. Laying on his legs was a piece of parchment while a bottle of ink was wedged between his left leg and the soft material of the arm of the chair.
He was staring up at nothing particularly interesting, his eyes glazed over, as he twirled a magnificent quill in his fingers. Earlier that afternoon Professor Flitwick had already started dishing out the homework. Cormac now in his final year at Hogwarts knew the high work load would come. He’d spent the Summer preparing himself for a tough year, but still he found himself sitting rather lazily, his mind floating between thoughts and memories quite absent mindedly. The work wasn’t even that hard, he was good at Charms, enjoyed in fact. Just today he hadn’t the slightest hint of motivation in him to get on with the simple task at hand.
He had now been sat in the same place for a whole four hours. Students of varying ages had passed by him and he had barely registered them. Even when a particularly loud group of second years had ran around in circles causing havoc, Cormac still hadn’t looked up at them. Part of him was simply zoned out from everything going on around him. The other part of him was distracted because he knew of what would be happening later on that evening. A party. A party was all the distraction someone like Cormac needed. He had been twiddling his thumbs in anticipation for the chance to.. well, talk to girls.
When he had first taken up his place in the common room he knew he had hours to wait before it was anywhere near socially acceptable to head down stairs to the party. Now though, while his mind was furthest away from where he physically was, something clicked far in the depths of his mind. He jolted upright, the bottle of ink turned upside down and leaked all into the upholstery while the piece of parchment that he had jotted a few ideas down on floaed quite gently towards the licking flames of the ever-present Gryffindor fire. He threw himself forwards, grabbed the piece of parchment and simultaneously fell with a great thud on to the table where his feet had been laying quite still only moments ago.
‘Ouch!’, he swore under his breath and picked himself up with the parchment crumpled in his hand. He flattened it out and read the few names listed to himself. Crude as ever, Cormac had been noting down possible girls he could swoon over. Personally, he liked to refer to them as targets. He grinned to himself before coming round to where he was. His eyes darted to the great grandfather clock that stood in the common room. His eyes widened, somehow great masses of time had passed by in the period that he had been daydreaming. Without a chance for a nearby fourth year boy to ask him if he was okay, Cormac dashed up the spiralled staircase to the very top.
He threw open the wooden door and hurried to his trunk. He pulled out the first items of clothing that would look remotely suitable together and changed as fast he could. He was about to leave the room in the same frantic pace before he caught a glimpse of himself in the long mirror. He took a few steps back before looking himself up and down. His sly grin spread across his face, he ruffled his hair then hurried off once more.
Checking his watch, he found himself at a suitable time to be heading down to the event. He wandered quite happily down flights of stairs and along a couple of corridors before arriving at a door like many others in Hogwarts. Except this door had the familiar sound of a gathering of people. Laughter and music crept through any crack they could inviting Cormac in. He brought himself to his highest, turned the door knob, cast it open and stood, framed in the door way in what he thought was a quite magnificent vision. A corner of his mouth lifted upwards as he broke into his familiar grin and immediately his eyes scanned the room looking for any potential girls to prey upon.
[Sorry if it's boring and crap...]

O U T F I T
Hermione was, as usual within the library with her face buried into the piles of homework that she already had. Of course, the girl had a bit more than some, because she was taking almost every class possible and lucky enough for her, she did have the time traveler that helped her with getting to one class and another. After about what seemed like ten hours from her last class to coming here and sitting down, Hermione sighed softly, as she ran a hand through her hair and glanced around herself a bit. Sometimes, there would be other students in here, but she saw that she was pretty much the only one within the library. She knew this was probably due to the fact that Lauren was having a party tonight, and it was probably getting closer to the time of it happening, thus the cause of the very eerie silence around her.
Packing her things up into her bag, Hermione slipped away from the library and made her way towards the common room. Maybe Ron or Harry or even Ginny would be around. She wondered a bit if any of them were going, if so..she'd probably walk down with them and hang out and just forget about things for a while. But as she entered the common room, she didn't see either of her best friends, but she did see Cormac sitting in one of the chairs and she frowned. Quietly as she could, she slipped past him and rushed up the stairs towards the girls dorm before he'd even have a chance to say hello to her.
Glad that she made it to the girls dorm without him noticing her, Hermione went towards her bed and sat down, setting her bag down on the floor next to her bed and just glanced around the dorm room. Some of the girls in there were in groups together, talking to themselves and giggling. She could hear that they were discussing the party and about who would all be there. The girl was a bit curious herself, so did she go or not. It wasn't that she was like a loner or anything, or that she didn't have friends, but she saw some of them more as friends that she'd have through hogwarts and then afterwards..maybe see them and speak to them every so often once they graduated. It was different from her friendship with Ron and Harry. She knew the three of them would always talk to each other and see one another more than a few times out of a year once they graduated. That is...as long as they didn't get themselves killed during their many different chaotic adventures they seem to have every year. The girl actually hoped a bit for a normal year this year.
Taking in a small breath and letting it out slowly, Hermione stood up and pulled out some clothes from her trunk and went to the bathroom to change quickly before coming back out. She threw her uniform into her trunk and then slipped on a pair of flats and made her way down the stairs. Lucky enough for her, she saw no Cormac in sight and that made her smile just the tiniest bit. Though..she did wish she knew where Ron and/or Harry is...maybe they were already down there. With that thought in mind, Hermione made her way towards the party and stepped inside, scanning the crowd a bit as she walked through.

“ This is so bloody stupid. ” Draco mumbled to himself as he trudged into his common room. He was really done with school and it was still early on in the year. He charged up the steps to the boys dormitories, and ignored the numerous greetings he received as he barged in the door. He tossed the large amount of books he was holding on his bed. The constant clatter in the dormitory was louder, and more interesting than usual. Instead of hearing about someone blowing up something in potions, or the hottest girl, Draco heard the word party. Actually he had heard the word drinking first and then the word party, but his mind thought thinking about a party would be better then thinking about drinking; not that he didn’t like the latter he enjoyed drinking, and it was a very satisfying pastime for him. But he knew the only people that would supply the party with anything more than butter beer would be him and his fellow Slytherins.
The talk of something relaxing like a party put Draco in a better mood instantly. He pulled off his robe, revealing his typical black trousers, and white button up shirt, with his customary green, black and silver Slytherin tie. Deciding whether or not he should attend the party was definitely not a hard decision for Draco. He had a horrible day, which was common lately, and all he wanted to do was kick back for a little while. “Yeah mate, I heard some Gryffindor was throwing it.” Draco shot his head in the direction of the person who had just let that piece of information slip from their lips. He didn’t recognize the kid, but that was beside the point, the whole idea had just been soiled for him.
He headed into the showers, letting the warm water trickle down his body, and melt away some of the stress of the day. He was now particular upset. He was looking forward to that party, and now it was all spoiled. After his shower he roughly pulled on his usual black trousers, and a plain white t-shirt. The dormitory was nearly empty, and the silence convinced him that the common room was probably empty as well. Everyone had probably gone to the bloody party. He groaned. He wanted to go. He wanted to have a few drinks. He wanted to relax for a few hours.
In a quick instant, before he could change his mind again, Draco threw open his trunk, and rummaged through it for something unique, and rarely ever appearing: a pair of jeans. Draco had rarely worn jeans in Hogwarts, and never wore them at home, but he had a pair or two just because. After a bit of rummaging, he finally located them, and stripped off his trousers and pulled on the jeans. He grabbed the nearest shirt and pulled it on.
Soon he was at the location, checking his watch; he figured he was late enough to join the party. He pulled open the door and his ears were filled with voices, music, and the sound of glasses clicking together. He couldn’t help but let a small smile stretch on his lips as he passed through the threshold, and entered the party. For a few minutes he watched the action before him, but he wasn’t in the mood to dance. Instead he helped himself to a glass of butter beer, and stood, with his arms crossed watching the party.

"Mm, Sebba, stay here."
It was a tempting offer.
"No way."
Sébastien rolled off the girl he had just been on top of, sitting and bending down now to put his socks and shoes on. The girl, who he had his back to, he could hear was buttoning her shirt again and probably staring daggers at him. In all honesty he didn't even know why she was acting so dramatic. It wasn't as if people didn't know exactly what Sébastien was like. He had already been here a year or so, and had had to repeat seventh year. Yeah okay, so it was a little embarrassing, but what did he care? He was just going to either go back to France or create a new branch of his family's clothing line here in London. He had no real interest in his schoolwork or his N.E.W.T. scores. But apparently his parents did, and had forced him to re-take the grade when they found out he was failing.
So long story short, why was she pissed?
"Well, are you gonna come back tomorrow?"
"Maybe."
---------
Sébastien was totally spliffed. Although originally the prospect of a large inter-house party sounded extremely appealing, the fact that it was to celebrate someone's anniversary that he didn't even know (and that it was also teacher-approved) took the fun out of it. So he decided to put some fun into it. Or into himself, anyways. It was nothing new, Sébastien had been doing this sort of shit for ages. He was usually the guy who was plastered when everyone else was buzzed, was drunk when everyone else was sober, and was spliffed when everyone else wasn't. It was just the way things were.
Walking into the classroom where the party was being held,Sébastien had to keep himself from grimacing. The decorations were horrible, and the fact that the crest for each house was in different parts of the room made him feel like he was obligated to stand by the badger. Ugh, he didn't know why he had decided to come to this in the first place. Was it to meet women or just to avoid them? Would anyone of any real interest be showing up anyways? As he walked in, the brunette yawned out of boredom and looked around. He was certainly the best dressed around here. He was in a simple white button-down that had been tailored to his tall and slim body, with the top buttons left unbuttoned and tucked out. Dark trousers were around his waist, and some rather nice trainers on his feet. His hair was perfect, as usual, his brown eyes a little glassy from being inebriated. Maybe boredom came into that too.
Deciding that standing with a drink in hand was a bit less idiotic than standing around with nothing, Sébastien made his way towards the refreshment table, pouring himself some butterbeer and standing around, one hand holding the drink and the other in his pocket. He was slouched against the wall, in his usual 'too cool for school' pose. But you know, it was Seb. He was too cool for school. "And this party, apparently," he said to himself with a roll of his eyes.
ooc; sorry if this is a piece of shit and leaves no room for interaction. D:

[*IMG}[/IMG*] I ASKED MY GIRLFRIEND IF SHE SEEN YOU 'ROUND BEFORE, she mumbled somethin' while we got down on the floor.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
She watched people start coming in, and she knew that some Slytherins would start trying to head in there. Lauren was glad to see that they weren't the only people though. There were people from the other houses as well coming to the party to see if it was truly any good or not. The girl cued for the music to start up, and headed out on to the floor to see if she could dance as crazy as she usually did at other parties. That was part of the point, to not care and just have fun. She wondered if George would ever show up there. It was in her highest hopes that he would. Having him be at this would be like that good old days when they came to big Hogwarts parties and just hanged out. Even though the good old days were just two years ago, it felt like forever. So much had happened in the past year to two years alone. She felt like her world was spinning way too fast for her to keep up.
Lauren decided that she would go up to Hermione. She had seen her around, and thought that she would be an alright person to talk to, The girl was friends with Ron Weasley after all. "Hey Hermione." A smile was put on to her face so she would be able to tell that she was disappointed. "You think that everything was set up well?" It was known that she tried her best to make things looks exactly as she thought they should at her parties. The girl saw Savannah from the corner of her eye. For some reason she felt... relieved to see her. Like it was seeing an old friend again. She knew better than to except kindness out of Savannah, but it was still comforting. Her eyes focused on Hermione again. "Do you know if Ron or Harry are coming to this or not?" The question was more for curiosity's sake since she could not at all predict what either of those boys were thinking.
Then she saw that Cormac was the other Gryffindor that was there. This would not be pretty at all. She knew that Cormac was a jerk and had a very big ego. Lauren was also aware of that fact that Hermione did not like him in the least. The girl took a closer scan, having not really paid that much attention before. A Ravenclaw and a Hufflepuff she didn't really know were there and Draco Malfoy with Savannah was there. So it seemed to be a mixed bag, and that she could deal with. What she couldn't deal with is George not coming and ruining the party by not being there. 'Where is he?' She thought, and felt a little panicked at that thought that none of her friends would be at the party. Well, she sort of had friends, but not the ones that she was close to. The ones that she was close to tended to be older than here, so they were already out of school. Or, they just happened to be Fred and George that left in the middle of last year.
OOC: the order: lauren - done savannah jaclyn cormac hermione draco sebastien ? ?
