good memory: (at least a good sentence or two about it, more would be wonderful)
bad memory: (the same thing applies for this field)
history: Ginevra Molly Weasley was born to Arthur and Molly as their seventh and final child. She was also the first female born into the Weasley clan in centuries. The youngest of seven children, all male, she'd learned at a very young age that if she wanted to survive she needed to toughen up a little. When her brothers weren't looking she began to sneak out to their broom shed and borrowed their brooms one by one. They didn't want her slowing them down in their many quidditch games. She'd get hurt. She was a girl, so young Ginny taught herself how to fly. And no one found out until years later. Ever since her eldest brother started school and she was old enough to register where he had gone, she had been excited for Hogwarts. She went with her mother every time, watching her brothers start school one by one. She wouldn't admit it now, but she was most upset about Ron leaving. After all, it'd always been him and her waving goodbye to their other brothers,, and now he was leaving her. She had begged her mum to let her go, but of course it wasn't possible.
FIRST YEAR ~
In the summer of 1992 Ginny eagerly awaited her acceptance letter to the school, but the post just didn't seem to come fast enough. She'd jump at every hoot of an owl, or bump in the night, thinking it would be it, but it never seemed to come. Thoughts had clouded her mind...what if she didn't get it? One morning, Ginny woke up and her mother was frantic. It seemed the Ron, Fred, and George were all missing, and so was the enchanted Ford Anglia that her father had charmed to fly. They'd happened to get back just in time for breakfast. Well, that was rather typical of her brothers now wasn't it? She'd gone to see them when she heard commotion in the kitchen, and her eyes met Harry Potter's and she immediately blushed and fled the room. After all, she had developed the biggest crush on him and she was still dressed in her pajamas! She'd gotten dressed and come down to breakfast, and took the vacant seat next to Ron, her brown-eyed gaze fixed on her scrambled eggs on toast for the whole meal. During that meal however, she was handed her the Hogwarts letter as Errol recovered from his crash into the table. She was sorted into Gryffindor, just like the rest of her family was. That year she found a mysterious journal. She tried to write in it, the entry had been about someone who was picking on her. Surprisingly the ink faded, and in a fancy scrawl, there were comforting words written back to her, and she could tell that it was the diary of someone that was sort of still there, like the ghosts roaming the halls. It was her constant companion; she wouldn't dare leave it sitting in the common room. After all, Tom could have told the person who found it what she'd told him. She knew he wouldn't do, it was just another of her childish worries. In the middle of term, strange things began happening. Mrs. Norris, Filch's cat had been petrified and Harry, Ron, and Hermione had been caught at the scene. Though Dumbledore tried to stop it, Filch was heartbroken, and he started interrogating passing by students in the hall. She would always cringe and take the long way to class when she saw him. Though she loved cats, and she would never, ever do anything like that, she couldn't even remember what she'd been doing, and that scared her. More and more people were getting petrified and she kept on blanking out most of the time. Once she'd awoken with chicken feathers and blood all over her robes. It was scaring her; this had all started when she found the diary. She attempted to dispose of it in the girl's toilets, but ended up throwing it and running away. Harry Potter had it now. It was awful, she saw him with it. He couldn't talk to Thomas Riddle, he'd tell her about how vulnerable she was, and maybe he'd start having horrible things happen to him too. So she did what she had to, she broke into the second year boys' dormitory and stole it from his trunk, a necessary precaution. Again she felt odd, but she couldn't do anything. She'd already put so much into it, and now the diary was possessing her once more, she opened the chamber of secrets once more, sealing her fate, he was going to consume her, take her life and make it his own. She'd woken up unconscious later on. Harry had defeated the sixteen year old Tom, and the basilisk. This only made her feelings for him stronger. She was sent home at the end of term, alive and well, but still a bit shaken with the past years events.
SECOND YEAR~ Arthur Weasley had won seven hundred galleons from a lucky draw in the daily prophet. This money was spent for their family’s trip to Egypt to visit her brother Bill, whom she hadn’t seen in a long time. It was fascinating to go and see all the tombs and pyramids, although there was one she was not allowed to view due to the fact that it carried mutant skeletons. Despite the traumatic event of her first year, Ginny was determined to have a great year at Hogwarts no matter what. She had been even more embarrassed when she and her family were staying at the Leaky Cauldron with Harry and Hermione. She’d said a quick hello and scurried out like the nervous wreck she was. On the train ride, when the dementors came, she was reduced to tears with the recollection of being possessed, and Hermione had comforted her. Later that year, when Harry had fallen off of his broom, she visited him in the hospital wing and presented him with a card that she’d charmed to sing..
THIRD YEAR~
In the summer of 1994, Ginny attended the Quidditch World Cup with three of her brothers, Hermione, and Harry. She shared a room and eventually a tent with Hermione, becoming a lot closer with her. That was when Hermione suggested that she should try to be herself more often, and go out with other people. Maybe that way Harry would like her. Of course, Hermione was right, and she felt stupid for being too much involved with a crush to realize this for herself. She was still a bit shy, but she wasn’t so awkward and was able to relax when spending the time with the three of them. When school was in session and the Yule ball became all anyone was talking of in late November, Ginny got a bit annoyed. After all, as a fourth year, she wouldn’t be able to go. That was until Neville had asked her, and she agreed to go with him. Later she discovered that she would have had the opportunity to go with Harry, but she kept her promise and went with Neville like she originally intended.
FOURTH YEAR~
The time of Umbridge was hard for the lot of them, Ginny Weasley included. She joined the DA as a sort of resistance and was one of the group that openly defied her authority on a regular basis. When Harry was suspended of his quidditch privileges, she took over his spot as seeker, though really, she would have preferred to play chaser. She (against the wishes of Harry Potter) went to the Department of Mysteries to help retrieve the prophecy and was in a battle with many death eaters, but of course managed to make it out alive. The experience proved that she wasn't just the youngest weasley, the only girl. She did something important, and maybe now people would stop underestimating her.
FIFTH YEAR~
Now it's fifth year, and Ginny is starting to feel less than optimistic about her and Harry working out as anything more than friends. She starting to warm up to other people, and has her eye set on a few. After all, why wait on Harry any longer if he's just not interested? She's made the quidditch team again, this time as her desired position, as a chaser, and she's one tough cookie on and off the field. She's just hoping this year goes smoothly and there aren't any incidents. Hopefully the only thing she'll have to worry about is her less-than-spectacular potions grade.

marital status: single
alliance:order.
favorite thing: boys, strawberries, and quidditch (x
despised thing: she hates pureblood elitists, especially the malfoys. She's a pureblood too and she doesn't act like that.
personality: Ginny Weasley has never taken a liking to being underestimated. After all, she’d taught herself to fly, and managed to survive a household of six brothers. That was said to be what gave her a tough exterior, and also interior. She’s extremely independent and would do anything to stand up for what she believes is right. Some might say she’s thick-headed and stubborn, but that’s only because she isn’t quick to change her mind. If she has firmly set her belief in something over a long period of time, why would she let herself be convinced of something different in a mere matter of minutes?
She isn’t much of a leader, and usually tends to like having some sort of source of direction, but she can take charge when she needs to. She also isn’t really much of a follower when if comes to certain aspects. Ginny prefers to go with what she thinks is right and not necessarily what she thinks is popular. She is incredibly loyal to the people she cares about, and would probably do anything within her power for them. Something she isn’t proud of is the fact that she is an incredibly good liar, though a few people can see right through her. Ginny hates seeing people upset, and if someone is, she’ll probably try to cheer them up. She’d been described as cheerful and humorous on more than one occasion, so she felt inclined to help people as best she could. She has only been withdrawn and shy with one person, and that was Harry Potter. Though sometimes she isn’t sure quite what to say around him, she has for the most part resolved this issue.
For the most part, Ginny is a sweet person and is very easy to get along with. She’s rather popular because she isn’t afraid of what people will think for being friends with a certain someone. She for the most part, doesn’t think much of stereotypes, mostly because she’s dealt with being stereotyped her whole life. Though, she does have a certain animosity toward people who think too much of blood status, and the members of Slytherin house. She has an intense hatred for the Malfoy family especially, as do the rest of her family members. After all, they’re the ones always making fun of her tatty books, red hair, and hand-me-down robes and think that she’s less of a person than they are. So therefore, she has (from experience) deemed this stereotype mostly true, and doesn’t give her loathing a second thought.
One thing that can get rather embarrassing is the fact that she is terribly stubborn. She doesn’t like asking for help, even when she desperately needs it. She sometimes gets so convinced that her way is best, and argues about the subject passionately, if only to later admit that she had been wrong. Though, that an apologizing is a bit of a sore spot for her. Ginny is also incredibly competitive. Perhaps that has to do with the fact that she’s rather skilled at a number of things, like dueling and quidditch perhaps, and she’s eager to prove that just because she’s a younger student and girl, doesn’t mean she can’t be just as good, if not better than anyone else. Being considered on of the guys has it’s benefits, and most of the time, she doesn’t mind. Sometimes, Ginny wishes that people would not think that of her, and actually see her for who she is. She really would like it if seeing both at the same time were possible, but it seems that some people aren’t ready for anything more complex than that.

rp sample:It wasn't like Jake was just going to forget five years of classes over one summer. Sure, a few things were a bit fuzzy, but that wasn't anything a quick refresher course couldn't solve. Or maybe a review packet. Despite the fact that they had all just completed their OWLS and moved on to the harder levels of their classes, that didn't mean the professors needed to assign so much homework. Why in the first two weeks alone, Jacob had almost managed to fall behind on his studies, which wasn't like him at all. He was responsible and always got things done and turned in on time. It was a fact that often gotten him teased by his younger brother. They had never gotten along well, perhaps it was because their personalities were too different. They clashed, in a way. However recently, the steady flow of homework had stopped and he'd managed to pull himself out of the sea of parchment he was drowning in. All he had left to complete was the recently assigned charms paper on his particular patronus, since all were unique and represented something about each person. Jacob's patronus was a lynx, which confused him quite a lot. After all, the lynx was a guardian, a keeper of secrets. The only thing that might have made sense was the aspect of the creature, that not matter how small or insignificant one may seem, they have the possibility to uncover great things about the world, and accomplish great things. Now while he wasn't sure this applied directly to himself, it was something he strongly believed to be true. He also did know many things that he simply preferred not to share with others, but that was normal. He sighed. Perhaps his patronus did fit him after all...but it was a strange and oddly personal topic to convey through an essay. Hopefully it wasn't one of those 'share with the class' sort of projects. He wasn't thrilled with that whole public speaking bit. Well, when it wasn't something he wished to share.
He saw a very wet pair of young boys come from the direction of the lake. Meaning, they had just went for a swim. Jacob never really felt comfortable swimming in the black lake, and had always declined when the offer was given to him. It wasn't only that, it was very much against the rules, but it made him feel uneasy. It wasn't even that he couldn't swim anymore, but he couldn't shake the feeling of the large tentacle of the giant squid rising above the water and wrapping around his leg and pulling him to the depths. Even if he would have managed to escape, which was...let's face it, unlikely at best, there were the merpeople down there. But none of that would matter, because the fact that he couldn't hold his breath for much longer than forty seconds would kill him much longer before them, and odds are he'd be freaking out too much to think to grab his wand and do something that could save him. No, Jake just preferred to stay away from it all together. He was out on the grounds today. Why not, it was nice enough?
But for some reason, he was closer than usual today...not close enough for anyone to come by and push him in, by any means. Jake could see the good area around this part of the lake though, and he noticed a girl creating a perch in a tree. It was precariously close to the lake and looked rather unstable. When she sat up, he saw the back of her head and the dark curls cascading part way down her back. Okay, so they weren't really curls anymore, and to be so certain of a person's identity just based on the back of their head sounds utterly ridiculous... but there was no doubt his his mind that it belonged to his childhood friend, Lucy Weasley. Now, while he couldn't really make out just quite she was doing, his stomach suddenly lurched. Always reckless, that Lucy. Not thinking. Wait? Was it really his place to think that about her? Really, it was true, but they hadn't spoken in years. About five, if you wanted specifics. And yet he knew so much about her. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he watched her sometimes, just to see her smile, to see her frustrated. It made him look like kind of a stalker...but he missed her. He missed the long summer afternoons they stole together, and he missed the way she laughed at him when he got ice cream on his nose. When they had both gotten separated into different houses, he'd been so disappointed. And like that, they started talking to each other less and less, and every time it was so awkward and strained. Then at one point, the conversations stopped altogether, just like that. How he had wished that she had been sorted into Hufflepuff. But she was a Weasley, and like most of her family, could not fight the call of the lions.
Jacob was taking the moment to himself, to reminisce, and wasn't quite paying attention. The thing that pulled him back to reality was someone crying out, and then a splash. Lucy. Lucy had fallen into the lake. Without any conscious decision on his part, he ran the distance between the rest of the grounds and the lake. With only one moments hesitation, he stole a glance at the dark surface, and then dove in before he could process what he was really doing. The water stung at his eyes, but he had to look. He saw Lucy's body being pulled under, as if by some unseen current. She was falling into deeper water. He swam to her, taking hold of her, whether it was her waist or her shoulders, he couldn't remember, but she was on his back. He had saved her, Jacob Finch-Fletchley had actually saved someone. After emerging from the lake, he set Lucy down in the grass just off of the lake's shore, falling to the earth beside her to catch his breath. It wasn't like she was totally unconscious or anything, she was breathing and suddenly Jake had a whole new worry on his mind.
