dear someone, just thought i would write a random letter and let this bird fly around with it to see where it landed and who got it. i'm rose maria calico, maria for short. i am a sixth year ravenclaw. i don't trust hardly anyone because of my past. i am muggleborn, although i feel like there is more to it then that. i have losts of deja vu so, i'm weird like that. i'm scared of guys, yeah, another past thing. well, i guess thats it. bye. sincerely,

The bird is fine, it is pretty smart to go to someone that it trusts. Well, did you have an okay summer? I am sure you heard about what happened. It just has been hard for me and my two sibling.

dear lauren, yeah, i'm used to having bad summers. i doubt if they will ever get better until i am away from my father. anyway, i'm happy that bird is nice to you. he tends to peck me a lot when i ask to use him to send owls. i don't think he likes me very well. i need to study, but i want someone to study with. if only there was someone like me out there who understands me. ah well, there is only one me and i love me. sincerely,

It is your sixth year, you only have one summer to go after this. Just hang in there, I don't know what is really going on. I know that it is horrible though and that it must be hard. Your owl is nice if you are nice back, start giving it treats and be gentle with it. As far as a person to study with, I think my brother would fit the bill. He is your year, also in Ravenclaw, he studies a lot, he's shy, and he's really nice. I think you would like him.

Rose, do you really want to run away from guys for the rest of your life? Do you really want your father to ruin every good part of your life and tear it to shreds? You have to take action Rose, you can't just let this destructive cycle continue. He needs a friend badly and I know that you do too. So just give him a chance.

You don't have to trust him at all yet, you just have to give him a chance. I will do what I can to get him to come to the library with me. We will see how well that goes though. He is super shy around girls that don't happen to be related to him.
